[New languages] Arabic
The application currently faces challenges in providing smooth translations of text. Regrettably, I require the translation feature for several slides. Therefore, I will need to transfer the slides and certain texts to an alternative application in order to facilitate translation. I sincerely hope that the translation functionality will improve in the near future, with the inclusion of the Arabic language as well.

Dear GoodNotes developer,
I am a loyal user of your app and I appreciate the features and functionalities that it offers. However, I have one suggestion that I believe would make your app more accessible and user-friendly for a large segment of potential customers: adding Arabic language support.
Arabic is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, with over 400 million native speakers and many more who learn it as a second or third language. It is also a rich and beautiful language with a unique script and writing system. However, many apps, including GoodNotes, do not fully support Arabic language, especially in terms of handwriting recognition and user interface.
I think that adding Arabic language support to GoodNotes would be a great improvement for your app and would attract many more users from the Middle East, North Africa, and other regions where Arabic is spoken. It would also enhance the experience of existing users who want to use your app for studying, working, or creating content in Arabic. I know that I would love to be able to write, draw, and annotate in Arabic using your app, and I am sure that many others would too.
I hope that you will consider this idea and implement it in the future updates of your app. I think that it would make GoodNotes more inclusive, diverse, and versatile, and would benefit both you and your customers. Thank you for your attention and your amazing app.

Bought a yearly subscription and was very disappointed to learn that Hebrew handwriting recognition is not supported. This app is really great, but this capability is critical for my day to day usage. Without it I will be inclined to cancel the subscription and find an alternative.

I am writing to kindly request the addition of Arabic language support for handwriting recognition in GoodNotes.
As a user who frequently takes notes in Arabic, having this feature would significantly enhance my experience and productivity within the app. I believe that implementing Arabic handwriting recognition would not only benefit me but also attract a broader audience of users who communicate and work in Arabic.
Best regards,

I’m shocked they have Thai but not Arabic. Arabic is in the top 10 spoken languages in the world.

I think, if the Arabic language add to the GoodNotes App as a default interface, like English, Türkçe, Italiano, Français and Japanese… it will be easier for arabs users.

Hei, GoodNotes team.
I’ve been using GoodNotes for about 2 months. Frequently I'm writing by using arabic language. And there’s no option for arabic in Handwriting recognition. Hopefully you would add it in option.
Thanks

I think it would be essential to integrate the Arabic language in good notes. It is one of the most spoken language in the world and both Arabic speaking persons and Arabic learners will love to have access to the handwriting recognition of this language. Thank you !

Add the Arabic language, it is spoken by more than 420 million people, and add handwriting recognition in Arabic letters. The app cannot be used "is useless" without this for me and for many people.

English is always the default language for digital content. However, it is crucial to plan for RTL (right-to-left) language accommodation in the global society of 2022. This should be primary in product design. It involves more than just text translation. Spatial design changes are necessary as well as navigation, visuals, general layout, numerals, etc).
Enabling Unicode Bidi (or bidirectional script support) should be on your to-do list at the very beginning of the product development process.
