Translate
Dear GoodNotes Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I’d like to suggest a feature that I believe would greatly enhance the user experience, especially for students and multilingual users.
Currently, the text selection menu includes useful options like “Copy,” “Highlight,” and “Comment.” It would be incredibly helpful to have a “Translate” option integrated directly into this menu. This would allow users to quickly understand unfamiliar terms or phrases without needing to switch between apps or use split-screen mode.
Such a feature would be especially valuable in academic and professional contexts, where users frequently engage with texts in multiple languages.
Thank you for continuously improving GoodNotes. It’s already a fantastic app, and this addition would make it even better.
Kind regards,
Nooran

Yes! What you describe was a core function from the OS in the earlier versions of GoodNotes. But when they did their redesign, they bagged those type of system functions like translate a selection. I don’t think it is ever a good idea to eliminate a core function like that, but I guess that had different ideas. I think they must have thought that Goodnotes AI could fill this need, but it doesn’t, by a long shot.
