Non-editable time stamps are critical because they ensure the integrity and accuracy of notes, while providing a reliable and tamper-proof log of when actions or events occurred.

This is essential for maintaining trust, accountability, and legal compliance in various systems and processes. Many of my personal notes can and have been used for this type of documentation.

With paper notes, you can definitely tell if one note is older than another if you constantly use the same notebook.

With electronic notes, there is no way to determine if what was written was done that morning or 4 years ago.

OneNote does offer this feature, and it seems like it should be a fairly simple add to the system. I really like this app for notes as compared to others, so please, please consider making this an option sooner rather than later.
