Literally this was your only differentiator of your product. What a ginormous step backwards. Please fix or let users chose what icons they need in their toolbars!

This is a critical and fundamental navigation feature. Needs to be restored asap please!

Having visible bookmark with red indicator when active was fantastic. My use is for client notes during therapy sessions. I need to quickly access bookmarked pages. But to get back to my current page, I need to easily bookmark it first. Please put the bookmark tool back on the toolbar. It's the most basic function that needs to directly visible with a quick one-tap activation. Having the red indicator also meant I could see from the corner of my eye that the page was bookmarked. Now I have no idea.

Yes! I used the bookmark button constantly along with annotations in my notes, so I'd like to see it back - or even better, make the toolbar customisable so we can choose what's most important ourselves.

This option made the life super easier when you’re writing down courses and you want to quickly find a page for later, that was a real bookmark before and made pages really easy to add to fav.

Please bring it back

I’m using Goodnotes to make notes during meetings. I made a lot of notebooks, depending on the kind of meeting. During a meeting, I write down my todo’s. To find them back easily, I bookmark the page. The bookmark icon on top of the page is critical to be quick at bookmarking it and see if a page was already bookmarked.

The bookmark icon made life easier - PLEASE bring it back !

The bookmark tab was my main way to walk through scripts… Pls bring it back asap, working with a second tab to see your favs is so annoying.

The bookmark icon/flag is very important in a note taking app. Please bring it back ASAP.

Please return the red flag to the toolbar. I use this quite regularly and have absolutely no need to make audio recordings. If possible, allow the user to customize the toolbar, choosing x number of choices that space allows. That way, it works for everyone. Thank you.

Please bring back the Bookmark Icon. I now cannot see quickly (without extra inefficient steps) where I have bookmarked the page. This doesnt work with the new change. It seems like a step backwards.

Taking notes digitally in a professional environment (financial services), I honestly don't know anybody who missed audio recording, yet all I asked lack the kind of oversight they where accustomed to with the possibility to favorite pages in the NavBar.
Alas, the usability of GoodNotes has dropped sharply in this use case. (I used the feature to favorite pages several times an hour, whereas I would expect to record only a few audio memos a year. Guess, would I what like to see in the NavBar as quick shortcut.)

As a graduate student, I attend a lot of fast paced lectures, and the red flag on the toolbar was useful to quickly mark important pages or new headings during lecture.

Please return the red flag for bookmarks to the toolbar. I use an organizer daily with multiple sections that I rotate through and need to keep track of. I need to immediately see that the page I am leaving or advancing to is one I wish to return to quickly and have bookmarked. Your change has added extra layers of inconvenience that are making me rethink whether GoodNotes is the application for me.

This is extremely critical to me. This is a note taking app which I use to review, annotate and comment on documents (or packages of documents) typically in the hundreds of pages. The bookmark icon is the only method by which I can efficiently reduce, for example, a 200 page document to the 10-15 pages that require action.

please add the bookmark toolbar on goodnotes for android after being released out later.

Please add the bookmark tab back to the nav bar. I used it daily for planning and now finding it really difficult to see what I have foyrited quickly and efficiently.

Predominantly is GD used for notes and marking pages is crucial part. To remove it (instead of expnding eg. colors) and replace ot by record button I find it as really wrong especially when there is place for both

Good Notes is a powerful tool. I love it for my daily work. Thank you so much for making it every day better. I appreciate it strongly.
My issue here:
* I am missing the bookmark icon in the toolbar.
* it is essential for me as with this I mark the correct day in my calendar.
* Is it possible to customise the toolbar by the user himself?
* I do not need for example the audio recording feature at all.
* If I would have the choice what I need this would be more essential to me.
Again thank you for making GoodNotes the best tool in the world.
