Add back the favorites to the top left tool bar on iPad version. When studying, the little red ribbon that lights up when the slide is marked as a favorite tells me I need to spend more time understanding the material. I really miss this feature.

I totally agree! You can no longer easily see if the current page has been added to favorites, and the extra tap is a pain.
There is enough room for both the audio button and the favorite button, so please add it back!

There is enough space even when I have 2 pages next to each other on 11” ipad … so why to remove it?

It's really important for quickly adding and removing pages to the favourite list and to have a visual indicator of which pages are already favourited.

I use it very often and now I have to go over the dotted menü and don`t see the current status.
There seems to be much empty space, so I dont understand, why this buton has been hided.

The bookmark should definitely continue to be at the top of the menu bar, however I just wanted to add that the bookmark option is still available by clicking the 'More' button at the top right corner. It is the first option.

Bookmarks and custom outlines are a MUST for organizing large documents. Logging in this morning and finding that option gone (and without a warning in the app) was disappointing. Please put the bookmarks button back where you had it. Move the audio button somewhere where folks don't accidentally activate it.

I wish I could go back to the previous version just to get the bookmark icon back. I like new features being added but please don't touch features that are great and have been around for a long time. I know the functionality is still present in the app but it needs to be visible and quickly accessible again.
For me it was vital for reviewing slides and notes for my exams.

the 'bookmark' feature in the top left when viewing a page has disappeared and replaced with a voice note feature. will the bookmark be coming back as it is an incredibly useful tool to have been removed

Not only is it the case that the missing bookmark toolbar is bad, I don't need the microphone at all, and I keep accidentally hitting the microphone which starts recording when what I am trying to do is tap the "share and export" button in order to adjust the mirror behavior during teaching. It seems that the microphone should be somewhere else, and not part of the regular interactive use of the app, since the microphone even if you use it, is not something that is going to be turned on and off that frequently.

I am missing the basic, red bookmark toolbar button hardcore, but as long as you’re in there —- I would love to have a series of 3-5 bookmarks of another color in the toolbar, so i can mark pages to come back to for different reasons as i go.

Some pages have certain types of information on it that I need to access quickly…I’d like to assign that “Blue”. Other pages have other types of information, I’ll assign it “Green”. It’s important to note that this wouldn’t be helpful unless you can add MULTIPLE bookmarks to any given page. Some pages have multiple types of information that I need to come back to….some pages are Blue and Green and I’d like to label them as such, and find them quickly!

Return the favorite page tab to the upper left corner. It was removed with the addition of the recording feature, which is cool but now we have to go through more steps just to add a favorite page.

Bring back the bookmark button please. Or make it so we can edit the toolbar to add it back. The record feature is useless to me so I want the bookmark button back where it was.

Yes, as an app with a primary focus on handwriting notes and viewing pdfs, quick and easy access to bookmarking should be a way higher priority compared to making audio recordings.
