Removing the bookmark icon from the toolbar shows how little the dev team seems to understand their own app and how little they care for usability!

Not only have I lost the ability to easily bookmark a page, I also cannot see anymore whether a page is bookmarked without going to the Bookmarks overview. This is pure excise and frustrating! You managed to completely ruin my workflow - details matter and responsible design demands great care when changing things. Obviously, the GoodNotes team is not up to the task.

I miss the bookmark icon too, but I also understand that toolbar space gets scarce - there might even be other features upcoming that need it.
So why not overlay the bookmark icon/button on the actual page - in the top left or right corner, like every ebook reader app does?
(Zooming and scrolling ensures it could not cover up something on the page.)

Me too! I love the favorites icon, it can be used to mark all the pages I have doubts so that I can review them together, very useful, it shouldn't be hide into the ... section.

I wrote a suggestion about this too. This is crucial for me. Please, bring the favorite button back.

This was a feature I used a lot -- and as I paged through documents, I could look at the button to see if it was red and thus already marked. Now I have to do two extra steps even just to see each page as I scroll through. Totally unsustainable. Please bring the bookmark icon back to the toolbar!!! Thanks.

It would be easier to add the bookmark and know the status of the page if you keep the bookmark/favourite icon! Please add the bookmark icon next to the recording icon

I was thinking that since the audio recording button replaced the bookmark button, at least give users the option to choose which button they would want to appear in settings. Personally, I don't think I will ever use the audio recording feature but use bookmarks very often.

Bring it back! And here is a suggestion to you guys let us arrangement the tools as We want please I wanna placement the favorite bookmark top on the right!!!

Please add the favourite (favorite) icon back to the top of the page!!!!!!! We would like to know whether the page we are viewing has been marked as favourite while reading without the need to check the status of the page all the time

This was a function I used all day every day. It both allowed us to set favourites and displayed if a page was a favourite. This is a critical function for large notebooks.
