Horizontal Highlighting Feature for Improved PDF Annotation

I am leaving this comment because I believe it could help improve the user experience of the application. I am a student, and I use it daily for reading, highlighting PDFs, and taking notes, especially on texts.
One of the main issues I encounter when studying on a tablet is that, when using the stylus with the highlighter function, my hand is not very steady, and the lines I draw are usually uneven. I know that by holding the stroke at the end it automatically straightens, but in many cases my stroke is so irregular that the correction results in curved lines that do not properly follow the text I intend to highlight.
What I propose is adding a feature to the stylus and highlighter that allows drawing only horizontal lines, making highlighting and underlining much easier.
I hope this suggestion is clear and helpful. Overall, I really like the application and find it very useful.

This feature is especially necessary on the Mac version of Goodnotes.
When highlighting text with a mouse or trackpad, it is difficult to draw a consistently horizontal line. Please add a persistent “Horizontal Lock” toggle for the pen and highlighter tools. When enabled, every stroke should be automatically constrained to a perfectly horizontal line.
The current hold-to-straighten behavior is not an adequate substitute because it requires additional time for every stroke and does not always lock the line to exactly 0 degrees. A persistent toggle would significantly improve PDF annotation and studying on Mac.
