[Sorting documents] Manual Sorting
Goodnotes 3 one could manually sort the notes, please add the function again as name and date is not enough, at university I sometimes upload allot of docs at a time and need to re order them!!

Hi! I’m a med student and use Goodnotes all the time—for taking notes, annotating textbooks, and pretty much everything study-related. Because of that, I end up accumulating a huge number of files.
One feature I think would be a total game changer is a custom arrangement option for documents and folders. I have files with different levels of priority, and I’d love to be able to manually place the most important ones at the top so they’re easier to find and I’m reminded of them every time I open the app.
Something similar to how you can freely arrange files and folders on a Mac desktop would be amazing. Even something like a priority tag that lets the app sort documents based on importance would make organizing so much easier.
I think this would be a really helpful feature for students and anyone managing lots of notes. I’d absolutely love to see something like this added in the future!

I believe that one of the things that’s lacking in the app is giving us the option to freely organize our notebooks/folders/documents however we like, not according to things like name or date created/edited. Please add this feature. Sincerely, a uni student.

Exactly like the title but I believe it is related to folder trees so that is needed as well. I want it like Notability does it.

Yes this would make a world of difference! It would also be great if we could add our own text or stickers to our folders.

Yes! Being able to organize folders and documents the way that we need to for our own product productivity makes the most sense! That is one of the biggest attracting features for one of the other apps.

Yes! This would make productivity so much better!

Arranging by time or name is not the way I want it. Please allow us to drag items to organize them.

Hello your is very good but it lacks organising very much and I have kept images from the Notability
It’s very frustrating how i cannot find the PDF
And there is no custom sorting of the PDF -

It would be great to have custom order of files in each folder!

It would be great if I could place my Notebooks wherever I want and maybe even leave empty slots inside the Folder

I feel you—manual sorting was so handy in Goodnotes 3, especially for when you're uploading a bunch of docs at once like I do for university. Having to rely on names and dates just doesn’t cut it sometimes. Hopefully, they bring back that feature in 4.0. In the meantime, I’ve been creating separate folders for each subject or project, which helps a bit with the chaos.

I have three requests.
I would like to be able to sort folders and notebooks manually, instead of sorting by date, name, or type.
Also, when I write slowly with a highlighter, the lines are automatically evened out.
I would like to be able to turn that on and off in the settings. Also, when duplicating notes and combining them into one, I would like to be able to select and move them all at once, instead of moving them one at a time!

Allow user to be able to drag and organise different notes/folders etc into any order that they want, instead of being limited to organising them by ‘date’ ‘name’ or ‘type’. I believe that this would allow me to organise my Goodnotes app that extra step further to make it perfect.

It doesn’t make sense to only order with the options giving and because of this I have documents out of order

In GoodNotes 6, it would be nice if you could arrange the folders and notebooks freely in ‘Documents’ by order and not just by date, type and title.
Many thanks, if that would be possible -

Allow us to arrange the files in the way that we prefer, not just only sorted by dates, names, and types.

The 3 automatic options limit my ease of use! i need certain notebooks or folders in a different order and i either need to rename them and hopefully it works as i need it or keep trying to find what i am looking for
