[Sorting documents] Manual Sorting
Goodnotes 3 one could manually sort the notes, please add the function again as name and date is not enough, at university I sometimes upload allot of docs at a time and need to re order them!!

It would be great to be able to do your own order of files and notebooks, instead of them being ordered by alphabet without being able to change that

Can't believe this was requested for 4 with so many votes and we're on 6 and still can't manually sort.

While I love the current organization options, I think it would be amazing if we could be able to move folders/notebooks around ourselves (or manually). Like a manual option as well.

Yes! Very true! it would also be nice to order files in certain folders by "last edited" but then other folders to be sorted manually.

can you guys make it an option to sort by your own order like be able to drag the notebooks around to fit the order that you want instead of only having date, alphabet and type
also make it possible for different folders to have different sorting options because i'm pretty sure right now if you choose a sort option it changes it for all your folders instead of just one
these updates would be extremely invaluable also thanks so much for taking my feedback about the lasso tool!!

I would like to decide the order of my folders completely by myself. This would make it easier to organize all folders.

One of the biggest drawbacks of the app is that my notebooks and folders are only able to be sorted alphabetically, by type, or by when I used them. This makes for a very unintuitive interface, as the order of documents often makes no sense. I think it would be relatively easy to add the option to just drag and drop folders/notebooks the way you would move apps on a home screen.

Yess I agree with this. Also I want certain folders to be ordered by "last edited" but then other folders to be sorted manually. Right now, whatever option I pick applies to all folders, which is annoying.

I would like to have this feature too. So you can. have your own, personal and individual order in your folders.
I would also like to see that different folders can have different types of sort, so you do not have to do it everytime for the global folders structure. -

GoodNotes automatically organizes documents by Date, Name or Type. Since I have so many documents, it can be hard to find what I'm looking for or what I use the most. For example, I would prefer to have my Planner as the #1 document, but it's not possible since I use other documents intermittently (Date), my planner is not first alphabetically (Name) and my folders always come first (Type). If I could just click and drag where I'd like my documents, I would be able to organize my space much better.

I love the tool and have a few of them.
In order to structure my content I would like to be able to move my notebooks around in my folder.
I have noted some storting to take place but,
-
Tag a set of favourites and show them on top in my folder or a dedicated folder would be good
- sort by drag would be advanced
- sort by keywordsI would also like to be able to merge notebooks in a way that I can drag my source on target and via control question be able to move (merge) all pages from source to the end of target.

Order notes in a way other than by date or name i.e. by topic, in a particular order for a presentation or with musical scores

Manual organization of notebooks would be greatly appreciated. As for school ordering notebooks and files in a custom order would greatly improve ability to organize files and notebooks

sort files in the order I want without date type or name, because if there are many files I want it to be close to each other but without having to create more folders because it is difficult to find again when opening too many messages item

I spent the evening last night putting astericks and zās to my folder names in order to force them into an order I preferred. Would be much easier if I could just customize how I want them sorted!

Better inner organization, such as manually placing documents in a order we prefer within the folders. Could possibly be a option labeled "custom" if implemented

I'm missing the function to sort the library items by created date!
