  1. When I rotate an object, I want to be able to rotate it without re-sizing; the two features should be separate.

    The rotate, resize objects is currently tied to together, therefore when I just want to rotate an object I can’t unless my hand is really steady otherwise it resizes the object as well - these two functions have to be separate.

  7. Allow us to PIN a few tabs from all the currently open tabs

    So let's say I'm opening 20 different lectures on goodnotes at the same time as well as one file with a checklist of all my lectures. Once I finish I lecture I have to go searching and hunting around all my open tabs for that checklist file in order to tick that lecture off. It's very annoying. I really want to just pin that checklist file because its something I like to keep open on goodnotes all the time and its a document I need to return to all the time.   10. Issue with the Writing Tool Automatically Switching to Lasso Tool

    Dear GoodNotes Support Team,

    I have been using GoodNotes for a long time and it has always worked perfectly. However, recently I started facing a problem. When I try to write, I click on the writing tool, but as soon as I tap on the page to start writing, the cursor automatically switches to the Lasso Tool. This keeps happening repeatedly, and it takes extra time to get back to the writing tool each time

    Recently, the lasso tool seems to have changed — if I select just a small part of a circle’s edge, it also selects anything crossing or inside the circle, even though I didn’t include them. It didn’t work like this before.

    I am one of the users who use GoodNotes 6.
    First, thanks for making a good app

    The problem there is that after the new update,
    The interface has been changed, and the Type button, when I clicked it, kept changing to another button, so I needed to click to get a blank continuously

    IT IS UNBELIEVABLY inefficient and uncomfortable.

  16. ADDING CZECH AS SUPPORTED LANGUAGE

    Need Czech language as a one of the supported ones. I study in Czech republic, so it would be a nice feature. Moreover I pay for premium version, so think about it Goodnotes. A lot of students in our country have the same request as me. Please do something about it.

  17. Missing text features in goodnotes 7

    In GoodNotes 7 it is no longer possible to set a default text style, and text backgrounds are missing. Both features existed in GoodNotes 6 and are essential for my work (e.g. creating assignments, official documents). Please clarify: is this a bug that will be fixed, or a deliberate design decision that will remain?

  19. Smart PDF Import: Add Margins with Grid Background for Writing

    When importing PDFs:

    ✔ Allow users to choose “Add expandable writing margin”
    ➡️ Let us set how many cm to add on each side (top, bottom, left, right)
    ➡️ Let us select a background style (grid, lined, blank) for the expanded area
    ➡️ Optionally, allow us to choose whether the background layer appears above or below the imported PDF (this could be added later—no rush!)

    🔥 This would create a perfect page layout with the PDF on one side and structured space to take notes, do calculations, or annotate clearly.

    No more floating sticky notes or struggling with extra pages—just…
