Ordered iCloud Sync
I just got a new device and all notes were synched from iCloud with no complaints. However, I have noticed that the order my notebooks synced was not what I expected. I am not sure in what order you currently sync the data but I would love it to be based on the notebooks that were last edited. For example, if i get a new device and want to use it right away for taking notes in class, I want my most recent notebooks to sync first so I can use them

Change Template for entire documents all at once
Add option to change page template of entire document (pages) all at once.
I use "squared paper" template when I write notes. It helps in maintaining a good hand writing experience. But to review/read, a white background feels much better to go through. Also while exporting it as pdf, blank background is better to read with. It very tiresome to change individual template of 200+ pages individually.

Problems when moving things around using the lasso tool
When moving things around using the lasso tool in large documents I often experience that some text just randomly disappears. Sometimes it can be entire pages and it is very frustrating as a student when you just finished a page of an assignment and suddenly it is gone. If I restart the document then the text is back. Also I experience a lot of lagging when in a large document. I think these two things have to be fixed because I find GoodNotes the best note taking app on the market except for this rather disturbing error.

More colours on the frequently used colour palette
It is getting tedious for me to switch between 6 commonly used colours with a 3-slot palette when there is clearly space on the app interface to accommodate all 6 of them.

Hi! I'm big fun of GoodNotes5 using everyday!
Summery
I want to suggest to implement new function.
It's file explorer pane like VSCode.Why I suggest this.
When I edit lots of files, it's difficult to move to other file quickly. If there is File Explorer Pane on the left side like IDEs, it's easier to move to other file.

Lasso tool: better use of properties menu
For adjusting what should be selected with the lasso tool you always have to open a dropdown menu. This could be done with the property menu on the right. That would be faster and you would see directly, what the lasso tool is going to select before using it.

Reduce CPU usage
On the Mac version of Goodnotes 5, it is a huge battery drainer and takes up a lot of CPU performance. My Mac is extremely loud from the fan usage when I am using the app. This makes it nearly impossible to use the app when I do not have a charger with me since it drains the battery within the hour.

Download only certain documents
I would like to be able to download certain documents to share across devices and certain documents to be a one device only thing.
Like my planner, id love to have on my phone and iPad, but my school notes, don’t need to be on my phone.

Add linking function to shapes and images
It’s very frustrating that as I work with my self made planner that there is no way to add additional links to other pages within goodnotes. Some people may even like to be able to link to websites.
I think it’s far too long overdue so I hope you start adding this feature soon. It would be nice to add a link tool to an added image , click on it and link it to another page.8 votes -
Menu Bar for opened documents
It would be great to have a menu bar where you can see all the tabs of the different documents even if you go back to the main document menu.
Now if you want to go back to your open document you actually have to open another document from the main menu to get back to the view of the different tabs.
Please keep the tabs on display whereever you are in goodnotes. Would be super helpful6 votes -
Insert video
I’m starting a daily journal/diary on GoodNotes and would like to document special events with videos as well as my notes that I’ve written down. I’m writing a new suggestion instead of voting on a previous one because I noticed that quite a few people might like this feature, but I haven’t seen any confirmation that it’s underway. Is this feature I’m the works? If so, what does the timeline look like for us to get our hands on it??

I'm sorry to use this forum incorrectly. I'm not here to contribute idea, but rather seeking help. The zendesk on your website doesn't help to solve the issue.
I have the GoodNotes 5 on my IpadPro and recently I downloaded the same apps on my iphone 11. During the syncing, there is a pop-up message to urge me to update the GoodNotes 5 on my IpadPro or it is unable to sync. Both apps were updated and I restarted both devices. But the problem persist. Full Slideshow Support for PowerPoint with Animations
I would love for the App to support full presentation mode for Powerpoint slides with all the animations and transitions
with the ongoing pandemic, online classes are quite common now and teaching online requires an excellent app that can be used to stream to students.
it would so awesome to combine the annotation capabilities of good notes and combine that with Microsoft powerpoint for awesome presentations to students.

Professional Engineering Drawings tools
I am an engineer.
I use GoodNotes all the time to produce flow diagrams at a professional level, good enough for tender documents.
It has become a much more useful tool than AutoCAD for this purpose.
I also use it to produce preliminary MEP drawings.
Basic measurement tool with a simple calibration Tool could help a lot.Thanks.

presentation mode when sharing ipad via cable on zoom
I love the presentation mode options when I share my iPad via airplay. Unfortunately, airplay in unreliable during zoom calls and I need to share my iPad via cable. But then, the presentation mode options are not available anymore, with all the downsides: people can see me zooming, my toolbar, the slides appear from the right, so I can't add have nice transitions for bullet points, etc.

Hide/Unhide region selected by Lasso.
Extremely useful for slowly displaying the contents during a technical lecture
Select a region. Add option to hide content (In addition to Screenshot). Replace that region with a small square with a number (for sequencing). Tapping the squre again makes content visible.

Turn text in any direction
I only can write Text from left to right but i need to spin the Text or Figures along lines in the Documents...
And i can not print DIN A3 - no option to choose that...3 votes
