Add shortcuts for "Page Width" to fit the page to the screen width
Can w add a shortcuts for "Page Width" (just like what we have in Microsoft Word) to zoom the page so that the width of the page match the width of the screen?
This is very useful when you want switch the iPad Mini to landscape view (to have bigger text size or get bigger keyboard to type faster).
This is also useful when you want to switch back to a page width zoom level after you zoom it for some purpose.

create an option to clear cache
Today my iPad ran out if storage space. I checked the usage page in Settings and Goodnotes was taking up 4GB of space. A few minutes later the iPad automagically launched into "cleaning" mode for Goodnotes and then, voila, the app's usage had dropped to 65MB. I create a lot of big files in Goodnotes but regularly clean them out when I'm done. It would be great if I could manually trigger a cleaning of the app's cache so that it doesn't grow to several GB again.

Add landscape orientation.
When you change the orientation of your iPad to landscape, the GoodNotes pages (blank template, ruled template, graph paper template, etc) turn to match the landscape orientation. Not the imported documents such as PDF, docx, ppt, etc. Just the GoodNotes papers need to have a landscape mode

Add tagging of documents and locations within documents
It would be a great deal, if it would be possible to tag all documents and (possibly) each position within each note with one or more tags. There should be a tag list for each shelf of notes, such that I can have different sets of tags for each shelf. It should then be possible to open the tag list for a shelf, click on a tag, and get a list of all usages of this tag with all documents and all locations within documents. Knowledge management capabilities
I am working with lots of pdfs and it's really fun to read an annotate them with GoodNotes. However, I'd like to use keywords and attach them everywhere in my notes (pdfs). Thereafter, I'd would link all keywords for all notes in one or more mindmaps. The, I should be able to access all occurences of a keyword (in all notes resp. pdfs) from my mindmaps. But, it need not to be mind maps. Structured listes (with subitems, subsubitems, and so on) could be a much simpler way to implement the structuring of keywords.

Allow the Export to recognize and export the Bookmarks you have created in you GoodNotes .pdf
Maybe I am missing some setting or documentation, but I spend a lot of time marking up documents and bookmarking those notes, only to have the bookmarks not Export with the document. Frustrating.

Create functionality to support a task list
While taking notes in meetings I find that tasks end up getting embedded in my notes.
Without having to switch to another task management app it would be convenient to be able to create a task on the fly and have it inserted into the page where I'm taking the notes.
Then, please allow me to view/manage tasks across the entire notebook, the entire folder or my entire GoodNotes installation.
For starters, all I would ask for would be the ability to check a task when it's completed and view/sort tasks by notebook / folder / all GoodNotes, checked/unchecked/either, toggle…

export non-flattened PDF
It appears that when PDFs are exported they are done so as a "flattened" PDF. It would be great if the PDF elements were still editable after export - both the written notes and any fields if they were included in the original PDF.

Add the ability to resize images without keeping proportions
When an Image is selected you get 8 handles to resize the image. The handles at the 4 corners resize the Image keeping the aspect ratio. That is expected behavior. But the handles at the edges should resize the width or the height of an image.
It is currently not possible to insert a white image and resize it to mask a part of a page (classroom).136 votes -

Scribbling out of a hand written word or line erases that word.
Sometimes when I make a mistake while hand writing in good notes I just scribble the word out then have to erase it later. Some sort of feature that recognizes I scribbled out a word and then erases it would be superb.

The images are too pixelated when imported, regardless of original resolution.
To increase or decrease the size of images, they lose a lot of quality. Should improve that.

Align typed text with a template's horizontal bars.
Text box positions and fonts should be aligned such that the multi-line typed text will be aligned with the current template's horizontal bars. This alignment should be the default initial behavior whenever a new text box is created.

Possibility to export lighter PDFs (less resolution).
It should be able to export with customizable resolutions, since for some notes we do not need high resolution and for dense pages the PDF generated with the current version is heavy and difficult to upload in slow connections.
