Multiple features from GoodNotes 4
There are multiple features that I used daily from Goodnotes 4 that are non-existent in Goodnotes 5. I know you said that the Airplay display features are coming but since I only used Goodnotes while Airplaying this is a big deal for me.
Also there is no option for importing/exporting to other cloud based storage (google drive, OneDrive for business, Dropbox). I used these with the automatic backup feature (also non-existent) everyday in my classroom. I am very disappointed with the release of Goodnotes 5 as you said that you took all the great parts of Goodnotes 4 and added…

color change, eraser and reverse buttons in the magnified writing area like in GoodNotes 4
The magnified writing window in GoodNotes 4 had a small menu bar, where one could change the pen colour, select the eraser and jump back and forth between the last changes. It greatly helped the writing flow, because one didn't need to go to the top of the screen.
Please bring that back!7 votes -

Get rid of the continuous undo
On goodnotes 5 I’d you keep hitting undo it undoes work you’ve completed on previous pages. Without noticing I’ve lost some of my notes and I wish that it was back to how it was in version 4

Goodnotes reminder
For the love of God, please turn off the Goodnotes 5 popover reminder in Goodnotes 4. I’ve clicked it a dozen times now and it still comes back to remind me. If I wanted Goodnotes 5, I would have bought it by the 10th reminder. Thanks.

Please make goodnotes available in windows 10!!
I have used many of the Goodnotes counterparts that are available in Microsoft store, which includes Inkodo, Scrble, Samsung voice notes with pen, Nebo, OneNote which the total cost was approximately 25USD. In the end, I concluded that none of these can ever become a rival of Goodnotes in IOS, due to their occasional crashes, unbearably slow speed, incompatibility with pdf, minor bugs, which just increases my stress level. I really would like to see Goodnotes for windows 10, no matter what the cost is.

Messy handwriting on version 5
I have recently upgraded to Goodnotes 5 and loving it... however I've noticed that it's a lot harder to write neatly in the new version (i.e. my notes seem a lot messier). I'm using an Ipad pro with apple pencil (1) and the ball point pen selected. Is there any reason for this / a way to fix?

Please bring back the 3 color pen option and the eraser on the zoom window bar
GN5 has LESS functionality in the zoom bar...
Going back and forth to the top of the screen is adding a TON of time whenever I just want to switch a pen color for emphasis, or delete a mistake.
I was really hoping the zoom bar in GN5 would have MORE options!
(*There really isn't much reason you couldn't add the ability to duplicate the entire main menu, or select elements we use often).16 votes -
Geometrical shapes creation tool
It would be nice, if Good Notes would feature a tool to create geometrical shapes the same way as it is possible in Word or other text editors, so that you can tap a button, choose the shape and place it, since the given tool is often not able to interpret correctly how I want the shape to be exactly. It is often useful as it is easier to use, but both possibilities would be great.

Implement keyboard shortcut to switch to the text box tool like in GN4 (cmd+shift+T)
I am a physics student and use a hardware keyboard to write text during lectures but use the pencil to draw sketches and write formulas. I am much slower in GN5 because this shortcut is missing.
Keyboard shortcuts to switch between the other tools would also be very welcome.5 votes -
Bug Report, Eraser Tool
When using the Eraser Tool with the "Auto-Deselect" option enabled, please revert back to the last USED tool, not the last SELECTED tool, when the erase is completed.
For instance, if I am writing with the Pen Tool, then mistakenly click on the Highlighter Tool, but I don't USE it, then I immediately click on the Eraser Tool and erase some writing, when I'm done erasing, it reverts back to the Highlighter and when I try to write again, I end up highlighting.
Since the Highlighting Tool was not USED, the Eraser should revert back to the last USED tool,…

These seem obvious: 1) Continuous sheets; 2)time stamp; 3) convert to text on the page; 4) save as .docx or .rtf
1) continuous sheets-why the small cards?
2) a date time stamp is necessary. I would like a command or template to have a start and a stop time;
3) convert handwriting to text on the page;
4) save as ,docx or .rtf10 votes -

Add “remove background color” option to print & export menus
In GoodNotes 4, there is an option to “Remove Background Color” when printing. This option is not present in GoodNotes 5. This feature is not the same as the “Black & White” option, which prints the page background color as gray—instead of removing it—which wastes ink.
GoodNotes 5, as it stands, only has the option to remove the page background, but (as the name suggests) the background is removed entirely; the lines on graph paper, for example, are removed, which cripple printing functionality.
