Really need pencil brush :( Please Goodnote!
Goodnote is an amazing note App if can add the brush of pencil it will be the most perfect note App in this world.
Please Goodnote, this suggestion is since 2017, but till now 2023, we still can’t have pencil brush. I feel so sad. I start to use Procreate to make note but some function from Procreate isn’t improve for make a note, so I still prefer Goodnote, still hope Goodnote can hear our needs.

Need more tips like ZoomNotes some many options.

A way to import .abr brushes would change my life for the better, at that point I’d just pay however much I have to for just that feature in goodnotes

I would also like a “sticky note” feature like in the kindle app. Where we can add a symbol or highlight on our notes that, when tapped, pops up to reveals comments or writing that we can leave.

I would like to see new pen features. Instead of just colors could we add glitter effects to the pen colors or get “glitter pen” versions of colors?

Would be great to be able to draw decent Storyboards inside Goodnotes, without having to switch using procreate or Apple notes, instead every single time and later having to copy-paste it into Goodnotes, instead... Therefore we need a DECENT PEN tool, and maybe have an option to HIDE TOOL/MENU bar, while in EDIT MODE. Since it only distracts and takes up unnecessary working space!! PLs make it therefore fullscreen!

Adding a storyboard template

I would like new pens as well as pencils. I use goodnotes for study and a pencil would be useful for my notes. When I want to write in pencil format I use the gray color, but it's not the same thing.

You should consider adding a Fountain pen like the new one on notes app on ios . It's the best pen I've used. And a pencil as well. We need smooth writing experience like notes app and procreate. I think is the bigger downside of your app. We cannot write easily.

The Apple Notes pencil brush is by far the best version I have experienced. If this was supported in GoodNotes 5, this would by far be a game changer in the digitally handwritten notetaking department.

so trueee i wanna take notes but using pen tools feels different. tried taking notes in Apple notes to compare the pen but its just the same. what makes it different is that notes app has pencil tool. i want to take notes in goodnotes tho so pls add pencil tooool

Why didn’t you add realistic pencil to GoodNotes.Tell us why! I do need it! Realistic pencil give a natural feeling like writing on paper with a real pencil.

While I don’t need a ton of brushes and realise that GN is for note taking and not art - at least a pencil would be nice. You promised us one over 6 years ago…
Some few brushes like in paper53 or bamboo paper would be nice though.
