Undo template change
Add an undo function that allows a template change to be undone. I’ve lost lecture note slides when trying to change the template of a blank page inserted between the slides.

I’ve lost my page content like other users trying to change template. Keeping safe document content is a main feature of any note app on my opinion. I'm confused why so important customers request is ignored by company during already 5 years.

Absolutely critical. Accidents happen when changing template in the nether regions between pages, and important notes are just lost forever? Why not at least let them go to the trash page? At best, just include this in the undo function.

I accidentally changed a page from my notes (PDF) into a paper template. How can I change it back?

OK, this post has been here for 3 years with this glitch unsolved. Why don't your change your name from Goodnotes to Badnotes? thanks, and bye!

Why isn't this added yet? Shouldn't this be the default way of doing things? I can't believe this suggestion has been added in since 2019 yet NOTHING has changed yet.

Literally the same as everyone here. I spent 30 minutes journaling with a custom template I spent an hour on, and I tried to change the front cover of the template to have no cover so it can be see through, and it instead made the whole thing the template overlapping mine and now I wasted 30 minutes and there’s no undo or restore button. This has been a issue for years and they failed to do anything about it, I already didn’t really use goodnotes but perrfered notable due to it suiting my needs, I decided to use goodnotes5 for journaling but That made me want to delete the whole app.

A really important feature that the Goodnotes app seems to be lacking. I've lost a page of a book trying to change the style of a blank page I had added but accidentally ended up changing the book's page to a blank page. Can't seem to undo it now, which is really annoying.

agreed. It's going to take a while to get the right slide back now...
