Tool Position-ing on the side(s) AND Undo button
To be able to position the Tool Bar AND the Undo button on the sides; the newest versions allow to position it on the bottom or top only. I think side placement is more helpful for Apple Pencil Version 1 users as I’m sure we quietly use the undo or eraser button quite a lot.

When we use "Landscape" mode for writing, putting the toolbar on the side is much more efficient. The toolbar on top or bottom takes a lot of space for writing as well.
