It would be great to have two page view as mentioned before, but to build on that, being able to link text to other pages and better to see them at the same time. I included a video of an example/inspiration (shoutout Baldurs Gate 3).

This would be great for compiling tasks, and with linking, you could add more in depth notes that would be easily accessible when you want. I know it would make organizing my work and notes so much easier.

I noticed requests for this dating back to 2013. Think we can push it up on the to do list??

2 page view is desperately needed on this app not the same as 2 windows. This has started to be make and break for me with this app.

Add the ability to view two pages of the same document like an open book.

Viewing 2 pages and be able to edit both on the same page on an iPad. Like how you can view a pdf in acrobat but in a way on good notes so you can edit them both.

I love using GoodNotes since it is so user friendly, however the only thing I find that is missing is the double page viewing option, so if I’m using a workbook, I can see both pages at once and flip through it like a normal tangible book. I know there is the option of opening a separate window but if I’m only using my iPhone, that isn’t possible. This would be an AMAZING feature and I think would honestly make a lot of people happy!!

The first suggestion I know isn't new but the developer's response isn't correctly addressing what's being asked. The two split windows is helpful, but a way to view a notebook in a 2 page spread/open book would be nice. I would also like to have an option to add stick notes off to the side of the page, like in a google doc how you can highlight a section and make a comment on it that sits off to the side. Also a way to add multiple pages at once instead of having to pull up at the end of every page would be appreciated.

I use GoodNotes to store my e-textbook PDFs and use it to study. But it’s really troubling to me that i need to use the split view in order to view two *separate* pages. It’s very difficult and disturbing to use spilt view (which when I want to turn to a page, I need to do the same gesture twice, once left and once right. And every time i want to turn to the next page, I need to swipe twice on each of the separated screens.) when what i need is like reading a book in two pages and when when I flip the page it’s totally the next view of the pages. It gives me a clear picture on where I am, left and right. I always need to refer back to the previous page or the next page like a real book. Using split view is really confusing and annoying when it comes to this. Thank you.

Add an option so that if the iPad is in landscape mode, then it shows two portrait pages like a real notebook.

This did not help me. I would like to flip through like a book and see both pages at once. So when I flip the page I see two new pages in the same journal. Not open multiple documents or tabs. Am I missing something?

It becomes monotonous and boring.
Also if tou can ass an option two jort down on a page (study note as in flexcil).
This lacunae brings the whole hardwork of yours down relatively.

It would be great if GoodNotes5 had an actual “book view” option like if it were an actual notebook. I understand split-view is an option, but you are not able to do continuous texts/drawings/etc. because only one page is available to view at a time. If this option was added, it would make it much simpler to use the planner template by being able to enhance the fluidity of ideas/writing/drawings.
I’ve attached an example from Apple Books (has a one-page view option as well as the 2-page) that shows a two-page view that I think would be a good addition to this app, and an image from my notebook that I really wish could be more fluid so I could go back and forth to each page and add notes easily.

In split view mode I can open two GoodNotes windows, and that’s wonderful, but I would love if I could work on the same document’s two pages and an extra window. Thank you for listening, I’m looking forward to seeing and using it!

I like annotating my textbooks and sometimes spreads cross 2 pages. Being able to see them side by side without opening a new window and be able to seamlessly draw across the two pages would be a dream.
Example: Apple’s Books app automatically displays 2 pages when the iPad is turned to landscape. Maybe goodnotes can incorporate a toggle feature for this?

Availability of 2 pages view in single window will allow users to more frequently use this application rather than other alternatives such as Flexcil, PDFexpert.
As a student, my self and users around my self are demanding this function. Because of lack of 2 pages function, it is not hard to see using other aforementioned alternative application.
