Make it so the search function recognizes text on pictures.
A lot of the notes I download for school have diagrams with text labels that the search function doesn't find. An OCR program built into the search function would smooth this over and wouldn't be difficult.

Integrating OCR (Optical Character Recognition) into the search function would greatly enhance its usefulness, especially for students who rely on notes with diagrams and labeled images. Currently, text embedded in pictures goes unrecognized, making it difficult to find specific information quickly. By incorporating OCR, the search function could identify and index all text within images, allowing users to search for terms in diagrams just as easily as in typed notes. This improvement would streamline studying and note organization, making the app far more efficient for academic use. For example, platforms like Toca Life’s World (https://tocalifesworld.com/) demonstrate how integrating image-based text recognition can enhance overall user experience by making content more accessible and searchable.
