Why does the text box duplicate so easily. It’s aggravating. It should ONLY duplicate with a long press and then selecting the option.

Every time I try to move these stupid boxes they duplicate. It’s wasted time.

this feature is already available. You fence select anything, and you press it down hard, as if to move it, and it automatically duplicates - I would prefer this feature did not exist, because it makes Scooching a object a little bit impossible.

Just like how it is done for images, which, when selected, if pressed longer can be duplicated, for the pen. It already does the "effect" of duplicating it with a grayer color, but when you release it it vanishes. It would be great and a lot faster than copy-pasting. Thanks

GoodNotes makes me waste so much time having to copy and paste every time, since I mostly work with formulas that repeat but that change by a symbol every time

We would love to get a duplicate feature just to make the notes-taking experience better and easier.

It‘s probably an easy feature to add and a huge time saver for writing notes, like for example big math formula, where only a small part changes

when you want to dublicate a picture, you just have to click on it and hold and drop. it would be great to be able to do that with selected handwriting as well!

After selecting an object or text it should pop-up the option or duplicating the item instead of having to copy and paste it. This function would help a lot in efficiency, please work on it...

When writing, I would love the option to duplicate whatever I wrote/drew using the lasso Tool directly (just moving the selected handwriting) like I can do with images. also for some reason it's possible when using split screen but not in the same page. I will attach a video of me duplicating something right away using split screen and then how it's possible to do with the same page ( it takes longer and not as efficient) I will be talking to explain further. thank you

It would be much faster to be able to duplicate handwritten notes (like in Notability) instead of having to copy and paste it every time.
In my opinion, it would speed up the process of note taking!

When making diagram I use shapes, I often need to have multiple circles or squares of the same size, since it is inconvenient and hard to draw each one in the exact same size my only option is to copy and then paste them, which is ok but if we can have two in one option (duplicate) the workflow would be faster. Duplication would be great for everything, not just shapes though.

Please add the feature to duplicate a drawing/item made with the shapes tool so I don't have to draw it again.

"Duplicate" rather than copy-paste would be a great idea. Already you can do it with a second GN window open (as noted in another comment) by dragging to the other window, dropping, then dragging back (even several times, if you want).

But why not allow the same facility without a second window? At the moment, dragging the "white box" in the same window looks promising... but disappoints by just snapping back when you let go. Why can't it simply duplicate? That would be a super time-saving feature.

Please add Duplicate. Otherwise, we are stuck with Copy, then long click to show the Paste menu, then clicking Paste.

Please implement a feature to duplicate certain parts of text/pictures/drawings. Because it‘s pretty annoying to have to tap twice each time you want to copy something.
