Goodnotes for linux
Goodnotes for linux :
why this is a good idea and takes less time to implement compared to windows: since mac os is unix based it should be easy enough to release a linux version. it will benefit computer science, electrical and others( who need linux) students and professionals who need to run linux (start with an ubuntu version) on their computers.
It will especially help programmers to trouble-shoot code as thought its done on paper-using an ipad using icloud or google drive

This would make me buy Goodnotes and fully commit to it. I only run linux and windows scares me with all its menus.

I agree too. A native Linux app for all my work. I can leave onenote for goodnotes if they can release a flatpak or whatever version of linux they can release.
Hey GoodNotes, please do the needful

GoodNotes already functions as a web app through the Microsoft Edge Flatpak (even offline), but offering it as a standalone Flatpak would significantly simplify the installation process.

Wonder what's happening - any development? It's important, yes

This is definitely something that we need. GoodNotes for linux would be very good and as MacOS is build similar to most distros, it shouldn't be that hard to implement it for the most popular distros like Ubuntu, Debian, Linux Mint.

Goodnotes, please just make a flatpak package. You won't have to worry about supporting multiple linux distros or anything like that.

This is so important! It's the drawback that a lot of people (me included) complain about. Goodnotes is so good that I'd happily replace it with One Note, for example, because it has the best features of it, but improved. But the fact that I can't connect my tablet to my Linux Laptop without the WEB version is really annoying (cause the web version is really meh)... Hope they fix this soon to be honest.

I won't buy goodnotes without a linux client.

Hi! Thank you for the convenient application, I use it every day for my work and study. But, unfortunately, I have an Ubuntu version of the operating system, and often I have to use messenger programs to send information from a laptop to a tablet where Goodnotes is located, and this is inconvenient. Are you going to create a version of the application for the Linux operating system?

Current browser solution is very hard to use compared to e.g. Zotero. A native linux app would mean a lot.

Use an AI workforce to automate this and other suggested features!

Would also like to have a web app or native app for Linux. Like other people mentioned, I have a Macbook, iPad, and run Debian on my local PC, and would like to be able to at least view my notes without having to pull out another device at my desk. I understand this is probably low on the priority list, I'd really like to be able to access my notes from my Debian machine.

I would love this because there is no app for this style on Linux that has the sync features. I have notesnook for typed but i want something i can easly draw on with my ipad sync to my desktop/laptop and i don't run windows.

Linux become more and more popular these years. Many of IT engineers use Linux distros as their main OS for workstation and Server.
I would like to have Goodnotes for my CentOS, AlmaLinux, RockyLinux. I did not have Ubuntu installation. ;-)
I have a MBP and Goodnotes Installed, and Keep a lot tech idea on it. But Goodnotes havn't Linux version limit me share my idea with my colleagues who use Linux distro also. However, Goodnotes Web app is preferrable also. -

I would like to have a good notes web app, so the platform on which it is running becomes irrelevant. I love to use good notes with my iPad, but as a Linux user and professional, I use Obsidian for compatibility reasons.

I am a PhD student and use Linux computers to do calculations, simulations, and data processing. I also like to read books and papers on my monitor. However I love taking notes by hand and manipulating equations and doing math is very nice on the iPad. I would love to be able to also use GoodNotes on my Linux machine. As of now copying things back and forth is a pain.

I work both with a mac laptop and a Linux PC. I use and prefer to use goodnotes on my mac, but I am forced to use something else, which is also nice but as much as goodnotes, when I switch to my Linux PC.

I'm an engineering manager and I take notes on pdf files on my ipad daily. However, my home and work systems are Ubuntu. Moving my notes from GoodNotes into reports and using the jotted references in my research would be a life changer.

They could use electron (which is used by slack, discord, etc.) to ship a cross-platform app.

Or how about the ability to access GoodNotes via web/online?
