Table
I would really appreciate it if you could make it possible to add tables to good notes. It would be very helpful, i don’t want to draw it all the time.
Thank you for your attention :)

Adding tables in typing mode would be very practical as many people enjoy typing mode in GoodNotes 5.0 but cannot add tables like in google docs.

It would be a great thing if you could make a bullet point outline and also insert/create a table.

It would be amazing to have a chart feature so you can organise your ideas without having to use the pen to make the lines. By making this feature, it would be easier and it would be amazing to have the custom Colors available for the background of the chart / table cells. Right now, I have to go to Word to make my table and have to screenshot it then put it in my GoodNotes. I really hope my idea will come true !

I use it to take notes in my math classes (college level) and a lot of them have work that is denoted in tables and it would save me so much time if I could just select a x*y size table and then just adjust the size. Would make the notes so much clearer as well! Please add!!!

this would be very helpful as it has become very time consuming, attempting to perfect the squares and avoiding slanted tables.
Thank you! -

It scares me how slow the people at good notes are at implementing simple elements and features such as tables. I see comments dating back to January 2021. at this point there must be a better competitor or there have been placed multiple holes in the market for other competitors to take over. it is an embarrassment for a digital company in 2023 to not meet customer needs and demands fast.

For the way i take notes it is crucial to have a table and for a while now i have been drawing one on the pages and setting the scroll to vertical to create the illusion of a table. One big downside is that if i have to insert new text in the middle of my DIY table the formating of the rest of the text gets messed up or it doesn’t fit on the page anymore…
With a table option and continuous scroll this problem would be fixed..
I love goodnotes but because it lacks this feature i am not able to use it anymore.. so until that feature is added i have to use another note taking app

Please ADD TABLES! I’m surprised you guys haven’t done so already, especially given the target demographic. That’s such a basic and extremely useful tool.

I end up using Notability because of no bullet points in Goodnotes. Please add bullet points and outlining capability.

Hi, I‘m a student and have two ideas:
The first one is to create automatic tables like those in notes on apple products, because I personally think it‘s a litte bit exhausting to draw them by hand in goodnotes.
The second one is to add rules, especially triangle ones, and and then you can draw straight lines and/ or look what the angles are. A similar thing existed in word for iPad and I think it‘s really effective. Because, every time I have have to look what angles there are, I use my real triangle ruler while it‘s leaving scratches across my screen and that’s pretty sad.
So, I hope you are reading my requests and add your solutions soon,
with kind regards, a happy goodnotes user :) -
