Tips to make your suggestion visible and bring your idea to life:

  • Search existing threads. Your idea might already be under discussion. If so, feel free to add your input or vote on it. More votes = more visibility.
  • Create a new thread if it’s new. If your suggestion is unique, start a new thread. Write a short, clear headline that quickly conveys your main idea, and include context and details in the description.
  • Separate multiple ideas. If you have several suggestions, split them into individual topics so we can review (and others can vote on) each one more effectively.

  1. As a student, and someone who doesn't really have an income it would really be better if the features/ tools we use to make notes are free ^^

  2. I don't know if I understood sth. wrong, but in the Using Conditions, was written down that goodnotes (beta) has permission to use every Data, we use in the app. If thats correct, the it's ok for just the Beta thing. But it's not okay for the Endversion of the app... For example if you are working with a Script from Universitywith copyright, then this part of the using condition is a reason to not use goodnotes anymore... Same Problem for a University Professor who has to correct Student's Works...

  5. an implementation like Anki to review cards.
for example extra categorie where a card can be reviewed where the categorie name would be the name of the notebook in which the flashcards are.
And a RemNote like usability for the flashcards.

  8. My cursor covers up half of the word I'm writing. Would be nice to have the option to hide the cursor, or at the very least have something like Microsoft OneNote where they change the cursor to a little dot.

  9. You could make an embedding on every page or even on every notebook. Or an empty embedding, such as for Notion, so that you can also use GoodNotes well in Notion.

  10. On a 4K display with 150% scaling set up in Windows, it is quite difficult to identify the different paper types when creating a new notebook. Most of the previews essentially look blank.
Instead of the scaled down version of a whole page, maybe the preview could show a clearly visible portion of the identifying element, e.g. just 2 rows of lines.

  13. As you know, Windows Devices are mostly used in Landscape mode(because of size or Windows was built to use in landscape) but the size of tool bar is so much bigger than the iOS version that the waste of space in landscape mode is too big

  16. My use scenario: ordinary touchless notebook + handwriting board
Problem: When using the tablet, in addition to adjusting the stroke thickness based on pressure, it also adjusts the stroke thickness based on the stroke speed, and I want to disable the latter one

  17. You should be able to convert your handwriting to math like with Notability. When you write a note and hit convert, a math option should come up so you can simply convert your handwriting into proper typed math symbols.

  19. I have used many of the Goodnotes counterparts that are available in Microsoft store, which includes Inkodo, Scrble, Samsung voice notes with pen, Nebo, OneNote which the total cost was approximately 25USD. In the end, I concluded that none of these can ever become a rival of Goodnotes in IOS, due to their occasional crashes, unbearably slow speed, incompatibility with pdf, minor bugs, which just increases my stress level. I really would like to see Goodnotes for windows 10, no matter what the cost is.
