scroll
There is a bug, where the pen input isn't put on the page for ca. 5 sec. on a certain part of the page. Also there is a bug where the page seems to scroll to the top of the page randomly. The performance is relatively slow and when moving the page the background becomes blurry and takes 1 sec. to render.

Ability to add textbox and normal-use geometrical shapes
I used it on iPad and seen a bit complicated to use the keyboard but in Windows case, there is no issue. Normally I used it because I had bad handwriting, but adding it makes more easy and more comprehensive text letters. Also try adding normal-use geometrical shapes like squares, and triangles, and add a cartesian plan.

Opacity
Adding opacity for all the current AND future pens, highliters, brushes, and pencils.
Same goes for tabs and images (especially if we need to write or draw on them).15 votes -
Developping the eraser functions
So, instead of having just 3 options of width of the erasor :
- adding a cursor of thikness, so that we can ourselves choose what we need
- adding a cursor of opacity of the erasor
- making it more pixel precise (currently, it is too rough)
- possibility of creating, let's say, 3 different but PERSONALIZED erasers : like one small and at 100%, one medium but at 40% opacity etc...This will save us a lot of time ! Thanks

handwriting
Improve the handwriting recognition speed. Currently the pen feature will lag behind writing unless you write slowly, and this leads to very messy handwriting.

Implement ability to screenshot with lasso tool
In the iOS version you can select a portion of the screen with the lasso tool and make a screenshot. The screenshot can then be pasted into any GoodNotes document pressing and holding a point on an opened document.
This functionality is particularly useful for doing homework and copying the exercise description on to a new page in order to work on it.24 votes -
Custom colors for covers
The current options for covers are sort of limiting. For example, the solid white cover automatically has a yellow line, but I would like a green or a red line instead. An option to customize the color(s) of the cover would be awesome.

Bug found with the pages
In the windows Beta, in portrait view, there is a sort of enforced margin, in that you can't display the full page and can only start writing about an inch in. In landscape view this doesn't appear to be a problem but this isn't the most natural way to use a notebook for writing

Add support to graphic tablets
Since most of the pc are without stylus laptops, it would be inclusive of most type of hardware including pc, laptop and mac. Generating an integration with graphic pads like wacom and huion, with their pen, pressure sensitivity, fine adjustment area and commands of both button and soft keys could support a large array of devices. The current beta does not support it, writing makes the complete screen flicker and does not enable writing of any sort. It would also enable fine use of drawing and open up a new polished version of digital art

Ability to standardise my account
I have quite a number of annotated notes i refer to do my homework/revision. With synced accounts it would be great as all my saved files will be viewable on both screens. I would be able to have another screen to use while referring to my notes. Currently, I divide my iPad screen into my imported annotated notes and a notebook for me to do my homework. It is hard to write on my iPad with only half the screen available.

Improve single-dot touches
When I try to dot my i's or try to write colons (:) the dots are hit or miss on their thickness or whether they even register. I'm using a Surface Pen (No Clip) with an ASUS Zenbook 14 Flip on Windows 10. Not sure if this is a fixable issue, and it's not awful, but this is feedback, after all!

Double click to adjust page view
I would find it very helpful to introduce the following function:
no matter what the page view is at the moment, if you double tap on the page, the page will adjust to fit the screen width. This helps the easier readability of the document.
if you double-tap the page again, the page adjusts to fit the entire screen. I find this especially helps the structuring of documents.

Using fingers to resize and move selection
Unfortunately, at the moment it is only possible to resize or move the selection using the stylus. In my opinion, it would simplify the operation if this was also possible with the finger or even with the computer mouse.
