  1. My use scenario: ordinary touchless notebook + handwriting board
Problem: When using the tablet, in addition to adjusting the stroke thickness based on pressure, it also adjusts the stroke thickness based on the stroke speed, and I want to disable the latter one

  2. the current one performs HORRIBLY. why? because it's literally just a web app! i can't believe anyone in the team thought this was a good idea. remember, only because making a web app is easier doesn't mean that it's better.

WinAppSDK offers so many benefits over a web app. efficiency and performance for example. stop trying to add more features instead of improving the actual app. using new features is a horrible experience when the app is literally not fun to use in any way.

  7. If I am going to be able to use this daily, like I want to, I'll need two things: 1) Hyperlinks. 2) Ability to type text. Please, I'd love to actually make this useful, but the way it is right now is just... almost glorified paint, to be honest.

  9. When using a large PDF, I have to find my current page again. Is there a way to make a page marker so that you can pick up where you left off?

  10. Palm rejection works well for making unwanted marks, but Palm movements that move the entire writing page are annoying. Thanks for seeking improvements on making an awesome app.

  11. Having the window that you can write big in but it shows up normal size on the page similar to the IOS version would be incredible as sometimes having to zoom in and out can become less efficient

  12. The handwriting work well btw, but the very interesting part - for a student as I am - would be the possibility to insert text sections (with different fonts would be amazing!).

Basically it would be nice, probably the best note taking app for student, if you could make it look exactly like the iOS version of Good Notes.

  13. Print function for the browser version (Chrome, Edge etc.)

A friend shared their GoodNotes document with me and I opened up the link in my browser. But there is no function to print the document in the browser. I download the app on my Windows PC and there is no function in there either to print the document.

  16. On many others applications there is a very simple option that you can use through the lasso tool that is the "duplicate" option of what you have circled with it. It is one of those options that helps you to take notes more easly. I know that there is the option to copy and past with the lasso tool, but it is something that slow down the entire creativity process in my opinion

  18. While working with a pdf with a lot of pages, its uncomfortable to look for the last page i was working on. It would be great if a notebook opens up on the last edited page.

  19. There needs to be a lot of slow and steady improvements before we can arrive at full feature parity with the IOS version. But we first need a proper android version and not a half baked web app for the foundation.

Hats off to the developers for the hard work. Hopefully we can have a full fledged android and windows application with syncing capabilities by fall, just in time for the next school year.

PS : there is an application on the play store which is already very close to the IOS version of Goodnotes called Jnotes.

  20. Hello I think the toolbar where you can select pen colors and other things would benefit from being able to adjust the toolbar with a right-cick option to allow people to add more colors or more tools into that toolbar.
