Yeah, I was trying to figure out for ages why my Mac's cooling fan was throwing a fit, so I started closing apps, and seriously not even a minute after I shut off goodnotes (Which was only running in the background!!) the fan shut off and my mac was back to normal. Checked the activity monitor and it's easily taking up as much space on my CPU while running in the background as Minecraft when I'm actually PLAYING the game.
