Thank you so much for sharing your suggestions! Great news! Choosing a PDF format — editable or flattened — is currently in progress and will go live soon.
Coming soon to Android, Windows, and Web: when you export a PDF, you'll be able to choose between an editable file that keeps your notes and annotations open for further editing, or a flattened version that's locked in and ready to share — so your PDF arrives exactly the way you intended.
We'll keep you updated as things move forward, and we'd love to hear your thoughts or any additional feedback you'd like to share in the meantime.

The editable-versus-flattened choice won’t necessarily fix the resolution issue. Please confirm whether exported handwriting and annotations will remain vector-based when flattened, so they stay sharp when zoomed in.
