Automatic Electrical/Electronics Engineering Symbol Correction
I’ve been enjoying Goodnotes for most of my classes, however I find when it comes to taking notes for my electric circuit analysis classes, my drawing ability on a tablet starts to lack. So I suggest including symbols for general ECE components into the shapes library OR have an option to create custom shapes (more applicable than just ECE) that could be added to the shapes library. I enjoy the shape-snap function because it’s quick, and I need that for those fast paced lectures.

I hope that this feature will come out with good notes
I'm using tape function as follows
If I click tape function, Then, the tape function of the item disappears and appears, so it's very convenient
But I think I'm going to disappear again at once again, so I think it's a little uncomfortable

Stabilize pen tool for the handwritten note-takers. It’s 2024…
It’s almost 2025 and GoodNotes has no feature to smooth and stabilize writing with the Apple Pencil. A lot of people prefer to hand write notes as using ‘scribble’ can be tedious at times, especially to those with poor handwriting which GoodNotes seems to ensure regardless of how well you write. Object constraining
Hello Everyone!
I write happily and motivated, because Goodnotes made my engineering studies better and more enjoyable.
With this mindset, this thought also comes: Constrain objects to each other.
E.g: I have a line, and I draw a circle. I want them to align tangentially. This would be awesome, since the shape recognition works amazing. Tangent is just one thing, it would be good to see other constraints, like perpendicular, parallel, concentric, midpoints, intersections, or maybe the option to define a distance between shapes/points. Nightmode
For professors, researchers, and students that use Goodnotes for annotations and highlighting, a nightmode would be awesome. Night mode would invert the white pixels to darker black and alter the black text to white, creating a more readability at night.
Annotation happens at night for most of us who research, A night mode that can be toggled or adjusted with iOS night mode would be phenomenonal.

make custom color palettes and synchronize them for the normal pen and highlighter
It would be great to make your own custom color palettes to switch between different ones and being able to synchronize these with the color palette of for example the highlighter pen, so you can make nice notes within a color scheme

Smart Study Feature algorithm too repetitive
I think the smart study feature lets you repeat the cards way too often. This is really frustrating if you have a study set with a lot of cards (100+). I think it would be better if the intervals were longer.

Night Mode for PDFs and the app in general
Could you guys make it a sort of greyscale effect when given the Night Mode option. Auto Converts any uploaded pdf into dark mode when using in the app, and converts black to white and vice versa. This would be especially useful when revising at night in a medium lit environment. I gave a little idea in the picture. Hopefully would give some idea.

Edit/Crop Audio Clip
Hi! Sometimes I forget to stop the audio clip and it continues to record leaving me with so much wasted data space and unnecessary long clips that I can't edit or shorten. If we just had the feature to simply edit the audio clip, that would be AMAZING.

Highlight specific recording when playing it.
When there are many recordings available if you select one to play you have to go back and find the specific one so I would like for the specific recording that is being played to be highlighted so you can know which one is which when you want to select it.

Highlight text from a document and transfer it to a new one
Students across the world use GoodNotes. They use it for reading and making notes. Some of those books and notes are so big that it seems impossible to read them again and again to memorise. It is helpful if we make notes out of it. Thet is the standard approach. But it is tedious and time consuming to do so.
Wouldn’t it be easier to just select the text that you’re reading and paste it to a new document to make an entirely separate notebook with all the selected text. That way it would be faster to make notes and…1 vote -

Please provide more than one pen tool feature
I take notes with diff colour and diff size of pen so every time,I have to select size and colour if you provide more than one pen feature then it is easy to choose pen which is customised on my preference of size and colour. After that i have to choose only pen instead of choosing size and colour every time like notability. Please add that feature.
