Fitting cover
I think you should add an option to fit covers to document sizes. I mean that I for example bought a few sets of covers for goodnotes app and even though they all should be in a4 format I just couldn’t get them to fit the regular template size or even the a4 template size. It’s either smaller or bigger than the notebook pages. There is always a difference in size. If Etsy has such a big market for digital content for your app and also different other sites I think you should add an option to make the notebook…

Page position asymmetrical
It would be awesome if there was a feature letting you move the paper you’re writing on on the side of the screen. So that the paper doesn’t always return to the middle of the screen.

[Sorting documents] Memorize sorting criteria by folder/file list
It would be useful if Goodnotes could retain the preferred sorting criteria by folder/file list. Personally, I prefer by type for lists of folders or lists of archived notes, but for long list of files including some files which I use daily, I would prefer by date. Right now, I have to manually switch the sort criteria each time I access the different lists.

Moving to a different folder should remember the last folder
I use GoodNotes on iPadOS for marking students' work. I normally have the files in a folder "To Mark" and once I mark them I move them to a folder "Marked". I do so by clicking on the name of the document and choosing "Move to a Different Folder" in the menu that opens up. Alas, every time I do this, the file browser starts at the top of the hierarchy. It would very convenient if GoodNotes would default to the previously used folder. It would save me (# students) x 4 clicks!!

Modify line width (Pen) with the Selector tool
I’d like to be able to change the line width for a drawn thing, with the Selector tool I can only change the color but not the thickness

Improve Index Cards
I use the index cards function on my IPhone 6S and it’s very small. I write the cards on my iPad so a function to zoom in the cards (learning mode) and/ore use them in landscape format ( work but in a very very small format) on the phone would be great. Tanks

an option to convert the whole document to same page size
When you are creating a new document in goodnotes 5, all pages have the same size /relation, but if you import a new page there´s no option to adapting its size or relation to the other pages of the document and seems out of place. It would be ideal to be able to just have some options of this type.

improve OCR technology
My handwriting is not that good and so the OCR results are not able to recognise most of the time so I couldn't take notes with peace of mind.Each time I write GoodNotes takes it as different letters or words, so when I search back couldn’t find what I want. It would be benefited if OCR Feature can take feedback of individual style of writing to recognise the letters and words. Saddest experience is my brother’s Samsung notes app doing this part well and could recognise my strokes well even though mine is terrible and I was shocked that GoodNotes…

project bars
Project bars can be created when users select consecutive lines of text. After that, notes and comments marked can be displayed around the project bar linked with a point that is in accordance with the proportion where they were written in the selected article. In this way, users can make a logical combing in order to have an idea of the structure in a vivider way. Click the point, users can go back to the corresponding part in text.

Bring back the large keyboard please
Your app is great, but your latest update removed the big keyboard and forced users to type on a tiny keyboard the same size as our phones. Can you please make it an option to keep the big keyboard? I spend enough time as it is trying to henpeck sentences on my phone.

auto-deselect image insert tool
Often time, I want to quickly insert 1 image and go back to the pen tool. It would be great if the image tool auto-deselect and revert back to the pen like the eraser tool could

Insert photo on a pape
The new update doesn’t have take photo button to insert on a page. We bow have to take photos separately app then insert on Goodnote. It is not convenient. Please add back the photo take. button

I can't use it on my iMac because it is an older version but I would truly appreciate a website version with sync capacity even if it didn't carry some of the app features

If you've done enough research into analysing your competitors I'd assume you've heard of Notion's toggle feature. I love it, if it's not rocket science, just hire a Harvard Comp Sci major and get it sorted. Cheers Goodnotes

More streamlined balpen for better handwriting
I would love an option for more smooth and streamlined handwriting like in procreate. I use GoodNotes mainly for handwriting and sometimes writing on an iPad can get a little wobbly

Strike off to erase
I really love the good notes app but the experience if often frustating when I'll have to erase something. I think if there is a functionality like strike to erase it will be of lot of ease , it has to be like I scribble on the text and the text gets erased
