GeoPDF
We often use GoodNotes to add additional content to GeoPDFs (drawings). Unfortunately, when the PDFs are exported from GoodNotes, they lose the referencing. It would be a very useful feature if the already existing referencing in a GeoPDF would still be present after editing in GoodNotes and would remain in the file when exporting.

Quicker Shapes
A thing I'm missing is a faster way for shapes, like some other apps added a feature if you draw a (not so good) circle and you touch the screen with your non-writing hand while your Apple Pencil is not yet lifted, the software automatically detects a figure and makes the circle perfect. It's a faster way than the way it's now. (Like in Procreate)

Wishlist/Save and Search for Shop
I know it’s a new feature, but I’d love to see a wishlist or save option for the shop. Also maybe a shop on the website or off of the app also. Ultimately some way to see and be able to compare certain items before you buy them based on what you are looking for

Hand-written interactive comment annotations
The interactive comment annotation feature has recently been made available in GoodNotes. However, it is currently only possible to type comments with the keyboard. It would be nice to be given the possibility to add hand-written interactive comment annotations.

About staedtler S pen
Make a note using staedtler S-pen, turn the pen upside down, and use the eraser to move on to the eraser function. However, if you turn the pen upside down again and try to make a note, the eraser function will continue and you will have to press the pen function again every time.

Shorter time for lasso options to appear
When using the lasso tool to paste objects, it takes about 1 second for the options menu to appear.
Since users typically don't stay on the same spot for longer than 0.5 seconds when using the lasso tool to select items, it makes sense to have a shorter wait time until the options appear.
This would make copying and pasting many objects much faster.

Seamless page for moving images instead of copy and paste
Seamless page is especially crucial for moving images from one page to the other instead of needing to copy and paste if the image is on the wrong page.

Import flashcards with pictures from Anki
I'd like to transition to using GoodNotes exclusively for studying because of its fantastic study set feature. However, I'm facing a challenge in exporting my flashcards from Anki to GoodNotes. The problem arises due to the presence of pictures and highlights in my flashcards. It would be greatly appreciated if a solution could be found to address this issue.

Existing Pen Stroke Color Change
After writing down a paragraph in a specific color (lets say black), I would like the ability to select a tool (maybe one that looks like a lens) and would allow me to go back over the words I have already written and change their color to something else (such as blue or red). That way, I would no longer have to erase something and rewrite it in a new color. Cornell Notes
I totally love your Full page text typing tool and use it daily. Especially the Cornell Notes template is my favorite to use with it. But unfortunately it takes a lot of effort to move a text box to the height of the text so that it looks nice and uniform. I would like to see a second frame on the left side of the Cornell Notes template in addition to the full page typing frame. This would be very helpful.

Set default size for elements
I would like to be able to set a default size of an element going forward. My elements almost always come into the document as huge no matter how big the thing was when I saved it (when using Add Element tool) and I don’t want to reduce file size so they stay high image quality if I do need it at a larger size. The Highlighter Erase Pop-up should have a button to return to normal erase
At the moment, it is a two step process to return to the normal eraser after using the highlighter only erase.
It would be much more simple if the pop-up message had the option to disable the highlighter only erase, rather than the current pop-up where there is only the options to go to the settings or ignore.

A quicker way to scale a photo to left and right boundary after inserting
When inserting a photo, most of the time I just want it to span from left to right while keeping it’s aspect ratio / proportions. Currently, scaling a photo is scaling it from it’s center. This results in the necessity for several resizes and drags to match the page border left and right.
I suggest an option to just hit a button in the context menu to scale the picture to a size where it‘s borders automatically align with the page borders!

Chapter Scroll
Since we have vertical scroll, i would like to see an option for chapter scrolling.
For Example: If vertical scroll is enabled (for pages), you can use horizontal scroll for scrolling through chapters. If pages scroll horizontal, chapters could scroll vertical.Together with page links - i think - this could be a great boost for structuring notebooks and usability.
This may include the creations of chapters or - if not possible - using outlines (as "start" of chapters)

Introduction of Colour options for ‘highlight’ button for selected texts in Goodnotes imported PDFs rather than the default yellow colour
The current version of GoodNotes (5.9.106) uses the default highlighter colour of yellow when highlighting selected text with the "highlight" button in PDFs imported to Goodnotes. It would be great if GoodNotes could provide us options of highlight colour then and there only (just like Apple default PDF reader), as it becomes tedious to select the text using lasso tool and then change the colour. Allow freestyle zooming in/out for both landscape & portrait
On iPadOS, one can zoom out beyond the margins of the given page while in landscape mode. However, the page remains centred and it is quite irking when I am trying to write something near the far right edge. This is exacerbated tenfold in portrait mode; you can’t really zoom out at all, making it incredibly frustrating when writing to the right edge.
