Close-Button
Hello, a close button (X button) for the last open file would be a great advantage. Maybe that can be done with the next update.

Have the pen auto align when there is recognizable text underneath. So you don’t have to keep switching between pens and so it looks nicer
The PDF has text underneath and the pen will automatically straighten when drawn under it. Same with highlighting. That way you aren’t thinking about which pen you are using and thinking about the actual information

Shift document view off-center for handwriting
I do understand that it makes sense for the document to pop back into central view when dragging to the side, but when handwriting at the document’s edge, this becomes an annoyance.
How about a new action/feature where the documents still pop back into central view under normal circumstances, but when the user really drags the document far off to the side, the document stays there at the side of the screen. Now the user can handwrite comfortably, with his hand resting on the black part (background) of the screen, and the document on the other side of the screen.…

Sizes
You should add the possibility to view files’ and folders’ sizes in the goodnotes app. Also, you could add pages counter to see the total amount of pages in a certain notebook and which page we’re viewing (page 15/20). Also, you could add the possibility of viewing on the home page the total amount of notebooks in the app.

Add "Search" to menu when selection contains handwritten word(s)
When hand written text is selected, it would be a great feature to be able to perform a search on the selected text withou having go thru the sequence: convert->copy->open search->paste.

Çok sayfadan oluşan dokümanlar için çerçeveler özelliğini kullanıyoruz. Ancak çerçeveler ile bir sayfaya gittikten sonra, tekrar başka bir sayfaya gitmek için çerçeveler sekmesini açtığımızda, çerçeveler in en başı çıkıyor ve tekrar aşağı inmek zorunda kalıyoruz. Mesela cevap anahtarı olan bir soru bankasında soru çözerken, soru sayfası ile sondaki cevap anahtarı arasında git gel yapmak zorlaşıyor. Bence çerçeveler sayfası açıldığında kullanılan sayfa en ortada olacak şekilde açılmalı. En baş sayfa en üstte olmamalı.

font collection
i use goodnotes to write all my class notes. even though it performs really well its very sad that its has only a handful of fonts of which most of them are creepy.
so i used custom fonts to get the job done. but after ipados 14 apple limited font access by system fonts only. as a result even after installing custom profiles i am not able to see the installed fonts. many other apps like procreate can still use installed fonts..the new goodnotes in ipados 14 fails to do so which frustrates me a lot. kindly update the app…2 votes -
Stop scrolling movement upon finger contact with trackpad.
In other apps when you scroll at speed, and then contact the trackpad with your fingers, the scrolling stops immediately. However, in GoodNotes, scrolling does not stop even when fingers contact the trackpad.
Having a scrolling behavior that stops exactly when you want it to makes it much easier to quickly see a page as you scroll so that you know whether you’re on the right page yet, and also allows you to quickly scroll a single page down with a flick of the fingers, and then stop it immediately. deactivate keyboard in text mode
when clicking on text, the keyboard automatically pops up and covers half the screen which makes it really hard to navigate or choose fonts and sizes etc. because the windows are super small. When deactivating the keyboard, the text edition mode also deactivates. It would be great if the keyboard could be deactivated while still in text editing mode. :)

Shareable/Group Documents
I would love the ability to have shared notebooks between users, in a "read only" or "read and write" capacity such as the sharing available on the native "notes" app for iOS and MacOS. This way we could share class/work notes with our colleagues in live time.

Keep document structure in backup PDF
I have downloaded and imported a PDF which has a structure which is visible in goodnotes and makes it easier to navigate. However, when I check the PDF which is automatically synced to my Dropbox, it does not have the structure which is unfortunate as I see no reason for it to be omitted when you're already able to successfully import it.

Auto backups without background template
It would be so awsome for the autobackup feature to have an option to backup all docs to pdf but without the background template. i know it can be tricky if you wrote on a black template with white ink, but for all people using templates just as a guide to keep sentences straight and a yellowish paper colour to avoid eye strain it would be the best feature ever

Option to keep adding new pages to a file when we get current page half written, like instead of being always swiping up or manually adding a new page when we need it is a waste of time, with a simple option you could auto add new pages as getting to the bottom of the current page
