Size on screen equals size on printout
A function for setting the size on screen to be equal to the size on printout (like on Preview app in macOS). This would ensure that the size of the text/diagram on the screen can be reflected on a 1:1 scale to how it would look like when it is printed out. Such a function will give users a greater sense of context when using the app, especially if the exported note has to be printed.
For example, in the screenshot below, the width of the PDF open on the computer is equal to the width of an A4 paper…

Auto-capitalisation based on iOS system preference
When adding / changing the name of a workbook or document, I noticed that there is no auto-capitalisation, while I have that enabled in my general iOS settings.
Is that something that can be added in the future?

Take more front setting in "defeat"
goodnotes 5 has just one type of front and colour can be saved as "defeat" and for user tying their doc using this setting evertime.
I want to ask for more "defeat setting" maybe 2 to 3

PDF document on Goodnotes page.
to put a pdf document on a Goodnotes document. This document is will be show as a pdf image (I attach an example). When the user click on the document will be opened as a normal Goodnotes page.

Remove toast message after undo
Remove the banner on top after undo, as ist distracts while working, without any benefit. As soon as I undo, I notice the change in the content anyways.

add page fuction
Thank you for developing such an useful app! I use goodnotes to take notes for my lecture. I write on my books or ppts and sometimes I want to add same-size template but with plain background so that it look like a continous work. So, I manually add present template and then add plain white image.
Can you please add an extra fuction such as adding same-size template with plain white background??

Import file via login to google drive
I think that apple’s File app has some bugs, so every time I upload a file to my google drive from PC, I cannot see that file via import button.
Looks like it didn’t sync well on the File app.
In my opinion, GoodNotes should request user permission directly to access the file from google drive.2 votes -
Zoom Tool Box with own paper template
When importing a new paper template being and you are writing in the zoom text field and click enter the whole box jumps down the whole box length. So being able to select where it jumps to when pressing enter and it so it can for example jump to the next line like with the pre-installed GoodNotes templates would be very good

Disable Rubberbanding
Allow me to move the paper/canvas freely so I don't have to take my hand off the glass when writing at the edge. This is only an issue in the opposite direction of the scroll. My workflow is up/down so I have limited access to the right edge because the page will rubberband back to center.

Email to GoodNotes
I used "Email to GoodNotes". It is a good feature but the mail address is hard to remember so I tried to forward any email that I send from my email to my email in Gmail with title "GoodNotes" but google told me that I must enter "Confirmation code" that they sent to my email in GoodNotes.
There is no way to see the "Confirmation code" now, so I cannot activate this feature.
To solve this problem, I suggest one of these ideas:
1- Convert any message to PDF

Please add creative ways to manage various folders, single file, pdf. Currently with so many subjects and folders and then subfolder looks a mess. there must be a concise and smart way to manage or tag documents.

Disable to show up keyboard automatically right after copy&paste texts.
When trying to copy$paste texts from something like a webpage to goodnotes, I don’t want keyboard to show up soon because I can’t change the width or the location of pasted texts because it is sometimes hidden by the keyboard.
I also wonder why I can't change the height of the textbox and also can't delete a whole textbox. Are these things possible on goodnotes 5?

Choose many pictures at the same time to make a new file.
Hi, Goodnotes is my most favorite application. But one thing that you can improve to make GoodNotes better application is “make it can choose many pictures and make an order of those pictures when user want to makes a new file from many pictures “ when found this needs when I have to sent my homeworks from home during this virus crisis.

colors dont reset with updates
hello it would be great if the new colors added by a user do not reset with each update, because it is very tedious to go and enter all the new colors again.

i am dev and i know its difficult to update apps and tasks users wants .but you can make a store and a section for using plugin for other devs share their plugins and improve your app productivity ,
for example :

Ongoing writing
It would be great to have the option to be able to continue scrolling downward endlessly while writing, instead of having to add a new page constantly.

Documents as new tabs
“Open documents as new tabs” option is a great tool but i would preferred that instead of all documents being open as new tabs only documents or notes or pages within a Currently open document would open as new tabs so you could toggle within that folder faster while looking at folders within folders. The way it is now it’s a bit cluttered and confusing because you get confused and don’t know where those tabs belong in just by looking at the titles if that makes any sense, thank you.

Can you offer free service for my AP students for 30 days while we are shutdown?
My students are preparing for the AP Language and Composition exam from home now. Annotating texts and sources is critical to this. I can’t ask them to pay for the service but this app could save us all! Please help.
