Android: Filename of download the same than notebook
On Android and Web, currently the download filename differs from the name of the notebook. It would be good if both is the same.

Safe Photo also to iPad Photo Library
When you take a photo with Goodnotes, the photo is imported directly into GoodNotes. The image data is compressed in the process.
If you want to export the photos from GoodNotes afterwards, then
you will unfortunately only receive the compressed photo data.
The original quality of the photos is unfortunately lost.
It would be good if the photos were also saved as original files in the iOS or PadOS library in addition to being imported into GoodNotes.
This would give you both the compressed photos in GoodNotes AND the original photo data.
Often you need both data!

Duplicate action for pen
Just like how it is done for images, which, when selected, if pressed longer can be duplicated, for the pen. It already does the "effect" of duplicating it with a grayer color, but when you release it it vanishes. It would be great and a lot faster than copy-pasting. Thanks

Enhancing the Writing Tools and Study Card Features
I loved the new keyboard option for writing, like in “Word.” But I would like more options to modify the font and other aspects, other tools, to improve the writing part. Another suggestion is that when I paste something I copied from ChatGPT, it comes with symbols like * and #. There could be an option to locate these symbols and remove them all. Add more features to the study cards (you can borrow some ideas from Anki) haha. Thank you, I look forward to it! I love the app <3

Return the removed functionality to insert PDF snippets in PDF format !! on Mac.

Before I could insert snippets from PDF documents without them being converted to a low resolution image format. Just rectangle selection in the Preview app, and paste in the GoodNotes, without the text being distorted and in Vector PDF format.
Now, the snippets are being converted to low res images and all the text and quality is distorted.
Please, change it back or add such an option.
That was the best feature in GoodNotes for me.

Automatically adding pages while writing or pasting content
I really like Goodnotes as a tool - it is visual supporting and not loaded with too many options. But, I barely use Good Notes. It is so inconvenient to write and organize a notebook, because the pages are not automatically included while writing or pasting a text. Instead, I have to add intentionally a new page - otherwise the text continues to be written on the same page … hidden. Organizing a note book with ideas and content becomes so inconvenient and annoying, that I often use to start with Goodnotes, but switch to another alternative when (again) encountering…

Add import / paste support for BMP / WEBP / ... image format
Currently, even though only PNG and JPEG seem to be officially supported, I can rename (not converting!) any BMP / WEBP image to ".png" and then I can paste the file into Goodnotes without any problems.
If Goodnotes supported pasting these file formats without first renaming them to PNG, I would be a very happy person :)

Add photo filter to make images like scanned document
OCR cannot dittect other languages hand writting correctly.
but an app called "CamScanner" has a filter called "Magic" it makes any photo and process it to look like scanned file. it removes unwanted reflection, shadow and make all the white areas total white. makes all the black text total black, alsocorrects other colors.
to match the goodnotes white background i use "camscanner" to proccess photo, then saves it, then imports it.
if Goodnotes has that filter, ican just click photo and apply the filter. it will save me a lot of time

Make it possible to add pdfs as pages of existing notebooks
I want to be able to import a pdf and have the pdf pages appear as pages in the existing notebook, scaled to the size of the notebook pages. Also, the form fields in the imported pdfs appear blank when they shoulf be filled. This needs to be fixed.

UI Visibility Improvements: Template Chooser
On iOS devices, the template chooser takes up most of the screen. On Mac, it's a tiny little modal dialog box that screams "Mac Catalyst afterthought".
And across iPhone/iPad/Mac, the thumbnails previews for each template are so faint that they all look like uniform white/yellow/black rectangles. They're only really discernible on iPad, but barely at that.
It's a minor nag for me, but objectively, it's careless user-hostility for those with vision impairments. I'd be a lot more incensed about this if I had the vision of my future middle-aged self.

stream line
I would like a feature that is similar to Procreate's "stream line" feature for their brushes, which allows the brush strokes to become sensitive to jitters or micromovements while writing or drawing. Sometimes my handwriting can show imperfections, especially while doing long lines and diagrams.

Ich würde es super finden, wenn man das aktuelle Datum einfügen könnte, ohne es jedes Mal schreiben zu müssen. Klar kann ich es auch kopieren und dann immer einfügen, aber eine Einfügen wäre dann doch einfacher.
