Horizontal right-left scroll selection
I want to read in Goodnotes such as comic books, and I would like to be able to choose between right and left scrolling, as it varies from book to book.

Mini Favorites Toolbar Adjustable
A mini favorites toolbar to add our favorite colors for pens, highlighters, eraser, etc. would be nice to move around on the screen like in Notability!

Dynamically extend imported page
Hey
I‘m studying philosophy and we have a lot of PDFs we have to read. While reading it is sometimes necessary to make notes beside the text, but often the PDF itself does not give enough space to properly write anything.
Currently I use the MarginAdjuster app (on iPad) to extend the space left/right to each PDF page and THEN import it into GoodNotes.
It would be awesome to have some similar functionality directly in the app itself.

Assign a color palette for different notebooks
i have lots of notebooks, some use the same exact colors all the time and some vary each use. i’d love to be able to set a color palette to one notebook, like my planner, and be able to just always have those colors set aside and set as favorites when i switch into that notebook.

Ability to open multiple documents at once
On GoodNotes, I have different slide packets for classes, I have to open them one at a time by selecting one, going to back, then selecting another one. If there was a select button to open multiple documents at once, it would be great

Feedback on “Study set”
When making a card it would be nice to have all functions available, such as draw, type and pictures.
One idea could be to have the classical top menu where the pen, eraser, hilighter, etc are found but also include a “Type” option that allows the user to type notes in the center of the card, just like it is in the current version. After that, the other tools can be used to add onto the text, such as hilighting or creating hand written annotations.
It would also be useful to add both pictures and text to the same card.

Line smoothing
Have an option to have a delay of the apple pencil but in return for smoother lines, like procreate. Many people use tempered glass protectors which forcibly results in wobbly curved lines especially when drawing diagrams. A toggle or button to turn on a smoothing feature for drawing diagrams would be great

Ruler to help write a straight line
Ruler or writing grid that is not really on a page after using the tool would be amazing. Because apples handwriting to text doesnt work with many languages!

Allow scrolling off the page so that writing on the edges of a page is easier
I am left-handed and use GoodNotes on my iPad for taking notes. When you're editing a document and zoomed in so that the entire width of the document can not be displayed and scroll all the way to the edge of the document, GoodNotes forces the edge of the document to the edge of the display and does not allow you to scroll off the page. This makes it difficult for me when writing at the beginning of a line, since I'm left-handed, my hand is often hovering off the edge of my iPad or I need to set something…

Make good notes account
A good notes account is a good idea as iCloud sync is not reliable. Making a username and password to have all folders and notebooks safe in a “goodnotes account” is the best way to ensure nothing is lost, and is an easy way to access these notes on other compatible devices (like iPad to MacBook).

Pull to add NEW page rather than duplicate last page
Pull to Add Page is a great feature. However, in my case it seems to always duplicate the last page in the document. But that doesn't seem to make sense. For example, why - if I have marked up an image in GoodNotes, - would I want to duplicate it? Then I just have another page that is the same as the one before it.
So I find myself constantly pulling to add page, and then having to delete the newly created (duplicate) page, and then I have to go up to the dropdown menu and choose the template. It…

ADHD help: Infinite Pages, Pen options, Text to Flashcards
The option for infinite pages like Onenote would be amazing! I find being able to scribble out ideas for mind mapping really helps me with my ADHD.
The ability to print it out later would be great as well, perhaps in the form of light outlines in the background on the template so we can visualise where all of the writting is going, or an auto suggestion?I love how CollaNote allows you to have multiple pen/highlighter options on the side of the page instead of the top bar. Tool
please add a feature to place the toolbar vertically on the Left/Right side of the screen. It's really useful as you don't have to move your hand way up or down to change tools or colours as well it allows larger space for writing.

I use GN to store ebooks. Sometimes I need to copy / paste from a PDF stored.
Im able to use the FIND to find the text, but I can't select lines or paragraphs, copy and past it (i.e.) on MSWord or Mails....8 votes -
latex ocr laze for written equations
There are latex keyboards i am using to insert equations as images,
but,
it is time consuming, and all the equations i just wrote on time when in classroom cannot be converted once this guys are on my notes....
what about ocr laze to convert those?
what about a new concept?, make your book from your notes... a beatifull and nice book...
take your notes just in time and then convert it to a book... a pdf to share with your pals without showing your/my awfull hand writting style...

Offline data storage
Enable File Storage without iCloud backup - My daughter is halfway through her sophomore year in college and loves (we all do) good notes. Her first years data is taking up several mega bytes of data (almost 32) which is all the memory she has on her iPad. As she continues we will obviously have to buy a new iPad and storage but would be great to be able to save that first years data to an offline file for use down the road to refer to and or share with friends. Good notes rocks, please add that feature!
