Enable to create links between pages
As the contents in the notebook keeps increasing over a period of time, I would like to have a link or connector to a previous page or a different book within the app to quickly navigate to the desired content instead if flipping through the pages.

This is a must have indeed. Could be combined with a better handling of hypertext links ?

I learn German. I always have a classbook open & notebook. it would be great to click on a link in the classbook and jump to my notebook’s page, where I wrote teacher’s explanations, exemples, etc. Then I could click on the link in the notebook and come back to the classbook where I left and go on.

I just purchased an iPad to help with my studies. I've just started using Goodnotes 3 days ago. I'm already looking for this feature. It can help quickly look something up from another page of the same document or another document entirely. Dear Goodnotes team, please make this happen soon.

Why has this not become a feature yet? It’s got nearly 4000 votes since it was requested in 2018...!?

I'd like to see the ability to link to other pages and notebooks. This would allow me to connect thoughts and ideas as I add pages to previous notes.
This is called a Zettelkasten.

Linking: https://zettelkasten.de/posts/kinds-of-ties/
Thanks!

This would infinitely increase the power of this application. Imagine if you could share your notebooks acutely to the page. One exciting application would be creating calendars with Goodnotes. You could simply create a weblink to share the page of a monthly calendar template, filled in with your handwritten events.
Then you could simply paste this link within the title of an event of a sync-capable calendar e.g. Apple Calendar or Google Calendar. This would allow you to have an actual handwritten calendar far superior to those in the app store presently. This would allow users to infinitely scale up the applications of GoodNotes, the only thing holding them back will be imagination capabilities :D
The shared link doesn't have to take the user to an editable page, it can just be the stored image of the page for viewing. The web-editing would also be a game-changer, but is surely a bigger investment and can come later.

Yes, not only between pages but also to specific parts of that page please!

absolutely a killer if you can add bi-directional links and unlink'ed reference
roam research is good but typing with keyboard isn't the best to help with learning. hand writing does.
but it's hard to organize all my notes without support of links
please developer, use kick starter or something like that let people vote with their wallet (and so, not just the same voting power per user, people who is willing to use their wallet to vote should get more weight)

Links to Goodnotes pages that you could insert in other sites and apps would also be great.
For example, within "Roam Research" or "Notion" it would be amazing if you could have a reference link to a jpeg preview of a particular page that would be updated as the page was updated. Then you could have a link that opened that page in Goodnotes. This way the image would be handy and could be updated when required. This would be an amazing way to extend out Goodnotes usefulness within a broader note-taking ecosystem. Sönke Ahrens book "How to take smart notes" advocates taking literature notes in pen an paper and then refining those notes into your Zettlekasten. Having easy access to your original notes and drawings and being able to update them as required would be a great way to marry text based and "Pen and Paper" processes and concept development techniques. -

Had the exact same idea. This comes handy for me especially with math/STEM notes, as I often write general ideas and concepts when I'm taking notes, and leave exercises in a different notebook. It would be phenomenal if I can just add some sort of button next to the note/concept which links me to another PDF page with a lot of exercises in that book. It's impossible to copy all the exercises from there to my main notebook. This is INCREDIBLY easy to implement with hyperlinks.

This would be an awesome feature! I don’t think this is hard to implement, because each destination point/link has to store just his page location and a list of point/links which the user can use to jump on any desired origin point in different pages (see the image attached)

bidirectional linking in a handwritten note-taking app? that'd would be revolutionary. but of course it'd add on layers of complexity for the developers. would love to see if this is achievable though!

Having reverse engineered good notes, I can safely say they will have to rethink their entire architecture but also please don't do this, as it defeats the whole purpose of concentrating on the current page. On a physical book or notebook, I used to do just that and find myself lost. If I had to revisit earlier, just search for the page.
