Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.
Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more
Update to version 6.4.2 in App Store to use Password Protection.

The new password protection feature is a great addition, especially for users who store sensitive notes or guides. I recently read a troubleshooting guide for PvZ Fusion, and having secure notebooks really helps keep drafts and technical fixes organized. I see they provide the latest version free if anyone installs the APK and enjoys the gameplay. Visit: https://pvzfusiondownload.com

The feature is good but i think the documents should be locked automatically when closed (or at least there should be an option for it). Other than that, i think if a document is locked, it should ask for password when sharing it too.

Password protection in GoodNotes is essential for privacy, just like enhanced security features in Insta Pro APK. Both tools prioritize user control and safety. Explore more about Insta Pro APK here: https://instpro.net/.

Love this suggestion. I often take sports breaks with Sportzfy APK https://sportzfyapklive.com/ in between my GoodNotes sessions. Knowing my notes stay locked would give me great peace of mind

I can't believe y'all actually added it. I've been checking once or twice a year for several years hoping for a password update despite being convinced it was never going to be a feature. Much thanks to everyone who worked on the feature.

Thank you! That really cleared things up for me. It’s encouraging to see how helpful and kind the community is https://adammag.co.uk/best-online-casinos-in-malaysia/. I’m glad I asked the question.

By requiring users to enter a specific combination of characters, password protection acts as a barrier between personal information here https://sportzfytvapk.com/ and potential threats such as hackers or malware.

Adding a password protection feature to notebooks would be a fantastic way to safeguard sensitive information. It would give users peace of mind knowing their private data is secure, especially when sharing devices or working in public spaces. This feature could be as simple as requiring a passcode to open the notebook or encrypting its contents for maximum security.
Similarly, in the gaming world, tools like PPSSPP
provide players with options to save their progress securely, ensuring an uninterrupted gaming experience. Just as protecting your sensitive data is essential, preserving your gaming achievements with features like save states makes a world of difference!Visit http://ppsspp.site

Hi, thanks for this, but does it also exist on the Goodnotes app version for Mac? It only seems to be on the ipad app?
Doesn't make much sense if it then is all visible on the Mac version... -

Yes, I agree. It would be a great feature if you could choose to password protect a specific folder or notebook.

I am very disappointed that Goodnotes 6 does not have a password option! I bought it for work and now I am not sure I can use it.

I have been a Goodnotes user for several years now - for all kinds of class/education notes. I want to start using this for my work now - and some of my work requires confidentiality. I like goodnotes a lot and do not want this feature to be deal breaker. On the edge to move to notability.

Protect select notebooks through a password or pin to ensure privacy. It would be nice to use a notebook for journaling or if an individual simply doesn’t want their business to be potentially viewed

Make it so you can lock your notebooks with a password. It makes sense that people will store private thoughts or information in their notebook. You should be able to out a password lock on each individual notebook.

1am in the process of deciding on note taking apps. The notes I take require confidentiality. Knowing that password protection is not offered makes using this app a deal breaker for me sadly.

I bought it now, but I'm so embarrassed to know that it doesn't have a password function.
It's just more surprising that the improvement hasn't been made despite the long-standing demands of many users. -
