Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.

Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more

You’ve been promising password protection forever! This should be simple. You’ve had tons of requests for this feature, yet no, real, response from you. We need to be able to, at least, password protect the app, if not individual notebooks! When are you going to give your users what they need and what they’ve asked for?

4600 users actually bothered to Google this, open the link and vote, that’s at least a third of the people who actually want this feature, so almost is thousand people you to do this and its still not hear, do you think a press conference is needed?

I just bought this app after choosing it over Notability. I just assumed that I would be able to password protect it like other apps. Come on! How difficult can that be? Your users want it.

Goodnotes have become my laboratory journal.
C'mon! I need to secure my notes! I am a Neurobiologist and I am sketching sentive information that will be published and might (hopefully) be patented. Until then, I need to be able to write with security because some of my notes contain sensitive information. Now that my notes are accessible cross platform (iPhone, iPad, MacBook) I need more than ever, privacy; This info might be sensitive to colleagues and coworkers.

I love the GoodNotes program, it's the best I've ever used. 90% of what I use it for is work, however the creativity it allows is stunted by its lack of privacy. I'm no poet or artist but it would be very beneficial to have a folder or file that wouldn't be easily accessible by simply unlocking my device. Password protection would totally complete this program in my opinion
