Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.
Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more
Update to version 6.4.2 in App Store to use Password Protection.

They aren't going to add password protection. There's no point in asking them to add it. Your requests fall on deaf ears and blind eyes.

It’s very sad that this idea was first shared in 2013 and 7 years later it hasn’t been implemented. This seems like a fairly simple fix that would make a world of difference for some of us.

End-to end encryption please.
I love this app too dearly to leave it now.
I hardly use pen anymore plus I have too much important stuff in this. And anyways, digital encryption via digital signature is easier.
Please email me, I can suggest a way. -

I have looked at your suggestion "(I agree with you that it's quite an inconvenience being unable to password-protect your notes and I can see how adding this capability could be useful. In fact, many users have requested this. As a workaround, you can lock your app with a passcode.)" and to be honest it is a mediocre fix. The ability to password protect one or more folders/notebooks of my choosing would give you a 5 star rating. If this was a free program I could see and understand your reluctance to incorporate a feature like this. But since this is a paid program I do not believe this is asking too much.

The addition of 256-AES encryption is necessary as well, if possible on iOS. I'm not too familiar with the restrictions placed on iOS.
