Password protect

It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.

Introducing Password Protection for your documents

To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more

Update to version 6.4.2 in App Store to use Password Protection.

    The ability to password protect a category would be enough. Same line of thought as preventing a category from uploading to the cloud.

    I think it is very necessary for the goodnotes to have the password when entering the notebooks. Because I believe that a lot of us have the habit of keeping dairy in the goodnotes, which is very private. So, I strongly recommend you guys add the password function to protect our dairies!!!

    I need to be able to lock certain notebooks. I would also like to be able to "share" my notebook with my secretary. OneNote has the edge there.

    I would also like to be able to lock all notebooks in a particular category (e.g., “private”). I use GN for journaling and would prefer to have TouchID/FaceID lockdown of my private stuff.

    Please add this, my kids use my iPad sometimes and I have to hover to make sure they don’t delete my notes or use then to doodle..

    Password protected notebooks would be amazing! It would also be incredibly helpful to export notebooks as a protected pdf!
