Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.
Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more
Update to version 6.4.2 in App Store to use Password Protection.

And probably already thought of, but my preference would be Touch ID

This is amazing app to write notes, but there is no option to set password on some notebooks, these make more privacy on some personal notebooks , we hope you add this feature in next update.

I really like this app, but without a password protection feature, I can't really use it a viable platform for serious work where confidentiality is mandatory. I find it fasinating that the programmers took all the time to make a great program and didn't make the effort to code a simple password protection feature---very disappointing. I'll have to look for another app.

As I start to use this application more I have discovered the need for this also For personal journaling and other sensitive notes this is a must have. Note ability already has this. When will this be available?

My Professor uses a long password on his pdfs. It would be nice to type it in once and store it for future use.

I am off the same opinion, it would be great to have the ability to lock a category or note book for more secure work.

The ability to password protect not just the app, but folders inside would be cool. Just having the app password protected would be great.

Completely agree... I cannot use this safely for the function I want to due to the lack of securing workbooks. This is a great app and this would put it over the top for me. Thank you.

this is a brilliant application and I use it lot during my work. Please add a password protection feature before entering the app as there are a lot of sensitive documents save in this app!

This has been in the planned category for a while. Any timeline on when it will be implemented?

would like to use GoodNotes as my only note-taking app. Bu the need to be able to do password protected notes means having to use another app more than GoodNotes.
