Battery drain
To address the battery drain issue maybe you could implement a feature in which the software transforms strokes into vectors just every 10 seconds or so instead of doing it instantly. Or maybe an option in which one can deactivate vectoring on pdf files, where in my opinion it is not really necessary. This problem is huge! 15-20 % drain in 1 hour of use is unacceptable. Despite preferring GoodNotes, this is the reason I really am considering Switching to Notability.
Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing battery drain. Could you please export the diagnostic data from GoodNotes > Menu > About and send the zip file to support@goodnotes.com for investigation? Our team will have a look to see what’s wrong in your case.

I am *shocked* that this has been outright declined. This is a serious issue. You really shouldn't need diagnostic data in this case given that this is trivially reproducible. Turn on auto-backup (pdf & native), paste some images and have a file that is > 5 pages long and start making edits.
