Easy/Automatic Outlines
Easy way of writing something and document automatically adds to page outline. For example, if I were to write “Chapter 2: Title”, GoodNotes will take that handwritten text and add it to the page outline. Either do it with a special pen, or a box used to highlight the text that is desired to be added. This way I don’t have write it, then go back and forth between the outline typing what I wrote.
Hello,
At the moment, we don’t have an option to add a specific part of the text to outlines, but this is available for the page settings.
For faster outline creation—especially when starting from scratch—the best option is to generate an outline using AI, which has also become available recently.

Give it a try and let us know if this works for you!

Would also love this. I use lined/ruled paper and write the titles at the top of each page. If GoodNotes could build an outline for me from all my handwritten titles that would be amazingly helpful to me. You could then use the titles more prominently when showing all pages too. Otherwise I need to click on page thumbnails over and over to see what their title & content contains.
