Easier switching between pen/highlighter colours
I highlight a lot of text and therefore have to constantly switch between different colours. Is there a way to have another shortcut on the Apple pencil for switching pen colours (similar to switching between an eraser and a pen)?
The Apple Pencil 2 supports a double-tap gesture that you can configure in the iPad Settings under Apple Pencil. It allows you to switch back and forth between different tools. GoodNotes follows the system settings for this gesture.

When switching from pen to highlighter or highlighter to pen, I would like them to automatically be the same color.
e.g. Green pen, switch to highlighter, Green highlighter is auto selected.
vice versa: Green Highlighter, switch to pen, Green pen is auto selected.
The color change should be manual only when I want to switch color. When I take notes on Powerpoints or PDFs, I like to color code pertinent notes to the highlighted word/topic. Manually switching pen, pen color, then highlighter, highlighter color becomes taxing.

Goodnotes seems to only switch between tool and eraser regardless of the system setting.
Attached video: I show that the system setting is set to "Switch between current tool and last used", then I go to good notes and scribble with black pen, then with red pen. Then I start doing the Apple Pencil double-tap gesture, and it switches between eraser and red pen, rather than switch between red pen and black pen.

@GoodNotes
Hi, I am aware of the option to switch between tools. What I meant to talk about was the switching between colours, such as in the highlighter function (eg from yellow to green highlighter colour).
