Convert Text to Handwrtiting
Sometimes I have a hard time reading typed out text and understand my own handwriting better but it’s just so tedious writing everything out by hand. Since typing is more efficient, it would be nice to convert text to handwriting. We could start by writing the whole alphabet in capitals and lowercase and when we want to convert text to handwriting, it could replace the text characters with letters we’ve drawn out.

I love to graphically design my notes, it helps my content feel cohesive and it’s part of my work process as I share these notes with others. Sometimes handwriting is too slow or I need to copy and paste things from other sources. It would be really cool to have a function to convert text to our handwriting, whether that’s through custom font capabilities or through ai recognition.

If it could sample the users handwriting using a training wizard, or similar device to provide/ improve handwriting spell check as well. The feature is almost built in, they just need to refine it.

It is an AI feature that converts typed text into handwritten notes, mimicking the user’s handwriting style. This would be activated when typed text is pasted into GoodNotes.
- Advantage: This allows for seamless integration of digital and handwritten notes, enabling a more personalized and cohesive note-taking experience. -

And make it so that you can edit(move/erase/change color etc.) each character instead of all the text as one

It would be awesome if you could add a method to convert copied text from a pdf to custom handwriting. As a software engineer, I propose adding the capability to enter a custom alphabet where the text is converted by mapping each letter (works in O(n) where n is the length of the text).

I know, this suggestion sounds strange at the beginning. But if you take a moment to think about it, actually, it makes perfect sense:
1. The best part of goodnotes is not editing text but handwriting strokes. Thus, when text from a keyboard is converted to handwriting strokes, it would be much much easier for majority iPad users.
2. Save a lot of terrible handwriting users, like me. And it also makes notes look more consistent. :-)
3. I guess it would not be too difficult to implement, just let the app pretend to get some perfect user handwriting.
