Selective eraser
Selective erase, just like the lasso tool. At the moment the only selection available for eraser is “Erase Highlighted Only” but some times i want to delete the text or shape within the highlighted area. Would be nice that we could pick “Erase handwriting only” as well.

I would like another eraser setting in which you can erase by layer. E.g if you have handwriting overlapping or have written in a filled shape, it would be useful to have the option to erase only the top layer, instead of deleting everything beneath.

When erasing it should be possible to have 3 options:
1 - standart - erasing all underneath the eraser
2 - erase only the textmarker / highlights
3 - erase only what is written with pen ( excluding shapes and highlights) -

I want to be able to erase my writing without erasing the highlighter.

Right now, the eraser would get whatever is in the background of the handwriting, so if I have a brush stroke and it's beautiful, it's gone if I want to change the text that I had overlaid on top of it. Like with the lasso, the eraser should have more options so it doesn't erase things we want to keep

Same here. Sometimes when I write on top of the highlighter, it’s troublesome for me to erase the writings only and not the highlighter

I hope there is an eraser function that can only erase the traces of the strokes on the entire page, but not the traces of the highlighter

Some time I use GoodNotes for test practicing, and I snap screen some test questions to another Note, then writing answers, when I want re-test, I have to use eraser to erase handwriting, cause I want those pic of "Questions" not be erased, so I wonder if you can add a function to filter 'quick erase hole page'

The current eraser generally erases everything. However, this is a problem with complex text that is possibly highlighted or circled in different colors, for example, with mathematical equations or problems. An eraser that is able to selectively erase a certain color will make it easier to remove unwanted colored text instead of having to erase everything and rewrite it.

The selection tool and eraser should have options for selecting only the highlighter or pen. This would allow speakers to "reuse" pages for live lectures (for example, in a zoom conference or youtube recording).

An option to make the rubber selective to specific features would be really helpful.
Example 1: If you have handwritten notes and you also marked parts of it, you could choose only to delete the markings and not the writings (or vice versa).
Example 2: If you have notes in black and red, you could choose the rubber to only delete the red parts. -

Allow erraser to erase only a seleted colour as to allow a single colour to be erased from a drawing.

Add a smart eraser that can erase only certain colours or just highlights

Erasing a certain color would be very useful in circumstances where colors are overlapping, both pen colors and highlighter colors. This would allow you to erase parts of a drawing in one color quickly without worrying about the others, and allow you to erase highlighters without erasing the text underneath. I see "Delete just a specific color" as completed, but I don't see the relevant option after the newest update.
