Idea: Allowing white ink in dark mode to automatically be switched to black ink in light mode. Basically, allow for visibility of the inks when switching between dark mode and light mode. Collanote (a free app) is able to do this and I would love for this to also be available in Goodnotes!

PEASE!! This is the main dealbreaker between OneNote and Goodnotes for me. As a college student, my eyes get strained easily. OneNotes changes the canvas to black and the “ink” or text to white, allowing for less eye strain. Unfortunately, while GoodNotes does incorporate dark mode into the main menu, the lack of incorporation into the pages defeats the point. If they made a template that is compatible with dark mode, I’d be using GoodNotes instead of OneNote.

Edit: Apple notes also has this feature, making GoodNotes the unfortunate odd one out

Sure, dark paper is an option. But what about in daytime, when everything else converts back to light mode? I am left with a dark canvas and an inability to print the documents I want properly.

Please please consider making this addition, and I guarantee it will make GoodNotes a much more popular note taking app compared to its competitors

This was asked many times but they won’t do it. This ist one of the most basic features and every other free app can do it. There is absolutely no chances this feature will come, because they don’t listen to their customers

I can’t believe this is not supported I’ve paid for something without this functionality that’s is incredible basic!!! It’s a joke?

I am using a black page on the black background.
For a longer battery time, I usually set my screen less brightly, but it is difficult to distinguish the border of each page.
So, my suggestion is to provide white edges as a border of every black page so that users can easily perceive when a page starts or ends.

If One Note and Apple Notes see this as such a high priority that they've already added it, why is Goodnotes not seeing this as a high priority?

Lack of this feature is making goodnotes less usable. Don't force me to choose Apple Notes over Goodnotes

Even free app like xodo have such feature. Plz update it.
