Exam mode for future paperless-exams with digital handwriting would be helpful for teachers, students and climate change.
Hello guys,
I've got a cool idea :). If you could implement a safe exam mode where the teacher can upload an exam and students can answer it on GoodNotes and if they leave the tab, the exam gets ended (just like exam.net). That would be excellent for teachers, schools, students which love their iPads and also helpful for the climate change.

We ran two midterms on iPads this spring. Jamf School’s Single App Mode kept kids in GoodNotes, with Guided Access as a backup. We pushed a managed Apple ID per device and disabled iCloud for GoodNotes, so they only saw a blank notebook we seeded at check in. Afterward we exported their notes as flattened PDFs to a class folder and removed then reinstalled the app via MDM. For psych classes, I also point students to mmpi test online https://practicetestgeeks.com/versant-practice-test-exam/ to practice under time with realistic questions and clear explanations. It’s from a large library that’s been around since 2014 and trusted by millions.

In the future, the students should also have the opportunity to write tests and exams with GoodNotes. We can already set the devices to exam mode with our MDM (Jamf School). Is it possible to set GoodNotes to exam mode so that students only have a blank document to write on during the exam, but no access to their folders? That would really be a huge help for us schools!
