please add GIF and Video support

Hey Goodnotes developers!!! In case you missed it, customers have been asking for GIFs for like 3yrs now!!! What gives??? Do we get them or do we have to move on to better note taking apps that do have them??? #elephantintheroom #imjustsaying 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

I know its might be tricky to loop the animation all the time - hey how about add function by long press the gif pic - it currently says 'zoom|edit|paste' - with a 'preview' function so it would be 'zoom|edit|past|preview'

Add a recording and gif feature and it will not be hard to choose goodnotes

I have switched to your app after about 10 years of using other apps. This app is great, has lots of fantastic features that make it superior to others and is very convenient to use. But it also lacks some features too.

Voice recording and importing is crucial, especially now that Samsung has added it to its app.
Also other multimedia formats are cool to be added , like short video clips, gifs and etc...
Please update, others already have , Samsung has added voice, folders, importing PDFs and a lot of features that they didn’t have, they are reaching , please be quick 😉

GIF support would really help with certain subjects/topics that require a short animation (currently using procreate to make them) to better understand the idea.

Hey It Would be great help to students if you will provide us with feature to add short videos and gifs to our notes.It will increase the visual presentation and will help in better understanding of topic while referring to notes.

I love GoodNotes! But I do have two wishes.. first I wish I could drag an article or clipped screen capture from one page to another as you can in Word. Second I wish I could place gif or animation on any page even if it is a captured screen clip. WR

Absolutely! This is a game changer for science teachers and students. Transparent backgrounds are important, too.

Paste or create live gif/png motion clips--with transparent backgrounds--within goodnotes. For example, an electric circuit diagram showing the charges moving. A page could look like a Harry Potter newspaper with moving pictures.

It would be great to have gifs for learning to write foreign languages and to provide quick demonstration in gif format of what was done in a classroom.
