Ruler
Please add a ruler with cm skala so architects and other students can easiele create plans at the appropriate scale
Hello,
The Ruler tool is available on Apple, Android, Windows, and Web platforms.
With the Ruler, you can draw perfectly straight lines in Goodnotes. When you select the Ruler tool, a ruler appears on the current page to help guide your strokes. Simply draw along the edge of the ruler, and the ink will snap to it automatically.
With the Ruler tool, you can:
- Choose between centimeters and inches
- Set the angle
- Adjust the position of the ruler
The Ruler tool is located in the Accessories menu. If you use it frequently, you can customize your toolbar and add it to the main toolbar for quicker access.
Read here for more details about the tool.

Hello! To make the ControlLogix system work better, I visited a resource where you can order the ControlLogix Analog Input Module 16 https://iqelectro.com/products/1756-if16h-allen-bradley-controllogix-analog-input-module-16-point-hart . With this module, you can collect analogue signals from up to 16 different sources simultaneously, which is very convenient for complex control and automation systems. In addition, the module supports HART technology, which allows you to read additional parameters from compatible devices.

It would be fantastic if the grid paper in GoodNotes could align with the ruler and have a box width of 0.5 cm. This alignment would greatly benefit users who frequently work with math problems and diagrams. Currently, users need to manually create a paper background with the desired grid specifications, which can be time-consuming and inconvenient.

We have Financial planners and expense sheets in my GoodNotes digital planner but I have to calculate the totals manually- it would be so great to import an excellent spreadsheet to calculate it automatically with formulas!

It's wonderful that there's now a ruler in GoodNotes. For math classes, it would be great if the grid paper aligned with it had a box width of 0.5 cm, and users wouldn't have to create this paper background themselves.

● add a color picker tool, how hard is that?
● add more than three colors to your paper templates (pink, blue, green, purple,...etc) THAT DON'T REQUIRE MORE MONEY of course. Add them like it is a default. Not only (dark grey, yellow and white) it would be perfect if we can make the color chosing the color wheel.● add rulers and a protractor 📏 📐
●add a way of being able to change the entire app appearance (like the color of the bar and the background, and the shape of the folder, like we can make the folder shape look like a sakura flower 🌸 and of course you can be more creative adding more ideas)
● add different brushes, pens, and pencils (e.g. dotted line pen, pencil textures, rainbow pen, foggy pen [to add shadows to some illustrations],...etc]
● add a way to change the saturation of the highlighters. I don't want to make more than one stroke to get the full saturation. And of course, I like that the highlighter goes under the writing so that won't be a problem.
- ⚠️ THIS is an important feature that I really NEED. It is to add a way to categorize colors whether in highlighters or pens side.
Like when we open the colors we don't get all the colors in one block, no. We will have above or below the names of the categories we added. And in that category, let's say category1, we have only the colors we chose to add here and there are other colors in another category. I hope I was clear. I like using different colors and I find it difficult to find the color I want because there too many. That will help me s lot and I'm sure it will help others as well.
● Increase the color limit preset from 12 to 20 or 25 colors for both highlighter and pens
● Increase the range for highlighters and pens ( smaller and bigger) and increase the preset sizes from 3 to 5 or 7■And of course, add a way to delete the preset sizes or colors as if we changed our minds and wanted a more minimalistic look
● make a way to make us permanently turn off the (1.selection by drawing a circle and 2. deleting by scrapping). I write in Arabic which is not indicated by your app and it keeps getting mistaken some letters for a selection tool and that's frustrating.
● add a way to make us personalize the covers or pages from inside the app. Like drawing on them or adding pictures, stickers,...etc. so it will only be the background not a picture in the file.
● Add a way to lock folders or files. (I guess this was mentioned before)
● we also need to move the top buttons around there are left handed people.
THANK YOU -

Looking for a cheap and more profitable way to automate your LinkedIn efforts? Then you can opt for an automated tool at https://dripify.io/linkedin-automation-tools/. It will help you cope with monotonous work. Most of them can provide you with detailed analytics. My favourite is Lempod, because of its customisable filters. They allow users to narrow their search and find modules specific to their industry or location.

To completely replace notability and draw me back to my Android tablet with Goodnotes forever, Goodnotes for Android would include:
1) A ruler, rotatable with degree settings
2) Auto arrows
3) Dashed and dotted lines
4) more eraser sizes than just the 3 given
5) Syncing to all my tablets (ipad too) with Googledrive
6) A choice between a rectangular selection tool and free-form selection tool -

I use GoodNotes for my mechanical engineering studies. For this it would be nice if a few more features were added.
I would find the following features important:
-ruler with a scale and angle setting
-Predefined shapes (arrow, semicolon line, square, circle, etc...)
-Mathematical paper templates (graph paper, squared paper with 5mm boxes)
