Ruler
Please add a ruler with cm skala so architects and other students can easiele create plans at the appropriate scale
Hello,
The Ruler tool is available on Apple, Android, Windows, and Web platforms.
With the Ruler, you can draw perfectly straight lines in Goodnotes. When you select the Ruler tool, a ruler appears on the current page to help guide your strokes. Simply draw along the edge of the ruler, and the ink will snap to it automatically.
With the Ruler tool, you can:
- Choose between centimeters and inches
- Set the angle
- Adjust the position of the ruler
The Ruler tool is located in the Accessories menu. If you use it frequently, you can customize your toolbar and add it to the main toolbar for quicker access.
Read here for more details about the tool.

It would be great if goodnotes adds a pencil tool just like in apple's notes app. I find apple's pencil tool is feels and looks like you're actually writing using a pencil.
it would be excellent too if you would add a ruler tool or a protractor tool so that users could draw engineering diagrams accurately. I find it annoying that when you want to rotate a selected object, its difficult to rotate the object to our liking without changing the size. And i suggest when you rotate an object it would show the angle of the rotation. -

Like in the apple PDF modificator, it may be interesting to add a ruler to make easier to underline some text or doing geométric shapes. Currently in Good Note the tool which allow us to do shape or straight line is a bit hard to use.
Sometimes, we can’t do what we want. It’s a waste of time. -

Having a ruler like in AppleNotes would be really helpful.
Besides that, as a student with a lot of maths, something like GeoGebra in a simpler version would help too. Being able to enter a function term and get the function in a coordinate system would be of great help and an even greater addition to GoodNotes.
Also, being able to select multiple pictures to insert would be helpful, as it would save time from having to select each and every single picture.
In PowerPoint, the function of print as handnotes gives the user three pictures on the left hand side and space to write on the right hand side. I think it would help to be able to insert PDF's, PPT's etc that way too, and not only having each slide from the file as a slide in GoodNotes.

Need a toolkit for ruler, protractor, compass. This is so we can illustrate scaled diagrams.

I love GoodNotes, and it's been a lifesaver with returning to grad school. I use it for all of my reading, which is all digitised this term, but as someone with a reading disorder, I would love if there was a way to turn on an accessible reading ruler, ideally with an adjustable size and colour overlay.

Good notes is so helpful but it would be better if there was a math compass as one of the tools.

Sketchbook Pro has some of the best rulers out there and I would love for those rulers to also be implemented on GoodNotes.

Support for mathematic tools like a measuring ruler or a protractor of sorts would really help as there is no way to actually measure the line length right now

Adding a measuring tool built into the text rotation box specifying the exact angle you rotate the text. Noteshelf 2 just introduced this.

Why not add a ruler and/or a virtual protractor to GoodNotes, it would be so much more practical to do graphs, draw vectors etc... because at the moment there is no precise tool.
(For example, there is a virtual rule on the Notes app on iOS).PS : A compass could also be useful but less important than the rule and the protractor which are ESSENTIAL!

Maybe add things like a ruler / triangular ruler to make it easier to use goodnotes in math / geometric classes.

Would appreciate if you could have appearing gridlines that would help you to align text boxes.

It would be useful if the app would have some features for math. For example a ruler, triangle ruler, circle or a parabola template

in order to create perfect technical drawings, you need an improved shape tool and a ruler (like apple notes). It would even be best if you could edit them afterwards without having to remove them. Then it would be the perfect app.

Have mathematical tools like the ruler, protractor, compass, divider, set square etc. For math students as holding a compass or divider over the ipad would damage the screen.
