Ruler
Please add a ruler with cm skala so architects and other students can easiele create plans at the appropriate scale
Hello,
The Ruler tool is available on Apple, Android, Windows, and Web platforms.
With the Ruler, you can draw perfectly straight lines in Goodnotes. When you select the Ruler tool, a ruler appears on the current page to help guide your strokes. Simply draw along the edge of the ruler, and the ink will snap to it automatically.
With the Ruler tool, you can:
- Choose between centimeters and inches
- Set the angle
- Adjust the position of the ruler
The Ruler tool is located in the Accessories menu. If you use it frequently, you can customize your toolbar and add it to the main toolbar for quicker access.
Read here for more details about the tool.

Even with the tool that makes your lines straight it is very hard to draw a graph in a diagram. A "real" ruler animation like in the Apple notes App would be awesome !!

I am using goodnotes for a math class and I have uploaded graphs as new documents. I am currently using a ruler on top of my screen but it isn’t accurate. It would be extremely awesome if a ruler tool would be created so people like me can graph accurately with ease.

As an engineer, could't you just create a vector based image with a ruler on the side and a grid, and then import it to your templates?

I'm an engineering student, It would be nice to have a ruler so we an draw in scale. It would be great to have screen capture in the app ( like pony a rectangle and press capture so I can bring part of PDF to another page or document. Thank you

I don't know if it's possible but I, and every engineer/architect student will love if we can do some simple technical drawings and graphics, with precise measures. Sorry for my bad English, I can't explain very well... I'm just trying to say some kind of "autocad SNAP" and a tool to do graphs... Some kind of ruler?? I don't know what you can do... :DD
The app is awesome to do some notes and calculations...
